It has already been discussed. Read the article I posted from Kotaku a page back, you do not need to get Direct TV even if you're able to, they say that from a legal standpoint. They're not just going to say, "oh yeah, just buy this and you won't need to get Direct TV." That would never happen. There will be an option that will ask if you have Direct TV or not, choose the latter, and that's that.

No, they give it to everyone. I provided proof on the first page. They have purposely vaguely worded it into making people think they have to subscribe to DirectTV. You don't, it'll work.
 
I already get Sunday Ticket for free. It's called Firstrowsports or Lshunter. They can keep their recycled garbage game.
 
At what point in the process do you click "unable to get service"? After you get the game and code? I was about to complete checkout on amazon last night but no such option or question was presented. Held off on submitting until now I guess
 
So if you have DirecTV but not Sunday Ticket, this doesn't change anything with your DirecTV service? By buying this, I would still only get Sunday Ticket on my tablet/computer,etc. Not TV?

Yep nothing on your tv unless you buy a chromecast but I know nothing about it.

Couldn't you also hook up an HDMI cable from your computer to the TV? I think they have adapters for that.

Ahhh....I don't have DirectTV I have Cable One. Even if I went with a satilite provider again I wouldn't go with DirectTV. I'd go back to Dish like I had before because they simply were always better. DirectTV always has these great deals for a six month period or a year and when that's up their price jacks up to more than what I paid each and every month with Dish.

I get all the Cowboys games anyway so Sunday Ticket is pretty much not a selling point for me.

I think that code is for unlocking older players. Mine is for Art Rooney Jr, Rod Woodson, and someone else.
