Very true and great advice. Your center will point out players to be blocked and ensure your OL and TE are set in their stance right bf the snap. The same is true on D, you can catch LBs pointing/adjusting presnap and catch them out of position because they aren't "set" either; esp OLBs when running outside. Good observation Gambit

See if you wait about 2-3 seconds after the OL has gotten into their stance and that's usually when the C will pick out players. When you get stuffed in the backfield by an unblocked DL, it is usually due to your OL/TE not being ready to take on that run block. Also, oddly your FB's speed/str usually takes precedent over their run blocking ability (just getting to the point of attack to interfere similar to Fiammetta a couple of years back as opposed Moose style lead blocking). The 16' Madden is harder than previous editions so don't be too hard on yourself. That's really why the 11 year Wizard's reign supreme OL; they learn how to beat the game, they don't play better football if that makes any sense. Adults don't have the time for that frankly. I did in Madden 95' too
Seriously though, there are good sim leagues to join if you want to avoid all that cheese that follow specific guidelines to ensure sim football instead of arcade style, etc.
