What are our cowboys facing down the streach?

1.Giants: Record 3-7 Pass "D" rank 25th Rush "D" rank 32nd (off bye week its time to handle their business) ( Murray should have a nice day and further Tony's rest)

2.
Eagles: Record 7-3 Pass 'D" rank 28th Rush rank 20th ( This bottom 1/3 "D" was not the total cause of the beat down Philly took Vs the Packers. 2 ints, 2 fumbles and a punt return for 75 yds did. Clean that up and we have a game.

3.
Chicago: Record 4-6 Pass "D" 27th Rush "D" 15th ( again, must take care to put the bad teams on the couch)

4.
Washington: Record 3-7 Pass"D" 9th Rush"D" 10th ( got to have this one no gimmies) ( crazy as it is out of the remaining schedule the Commanders match up well)

5.
Colts : Record 6-4 Pass"D" 28th Rush "D" 17th ( Brady, simply played "Keep away" from the Colts... controlled the clock for almost a 10 minute spread difference and pounded the rock. Both QB's had very close stats, turnovers no real surprises here. it was the real butt kicking of the day. Dallas is taylor made to repeat this performance. love it.

I like our chances...get better Tony as this might be the year to take all those loud mouths to the woodshed.

Talk it up guys...i've given you all the room you need. ;)

The only issue is ourselves. We continue to find ways to beat ourselves. This year looks promising but we just need to continue to show up and play hard and not beat ourselves. We do that, and we will have a good chance at the dance.

Giant- w
Eagles- w
Bears-w
Colts- W
Skins- L (only because we have wrapped things up before this game and starters are sitting) :)

That would be nice. And we can go on a run but we have to keep Romo healthy and keep pounding that Murray guy down teams throats.

Running will be important but I think over these last 6 games I think teams will do more to stop the run and Tony will have to make them pay.

Yeah teams are going to make us win in the air, especially in the cold of winter.

We need to have our screen and quick-pass game going.

I have really felt all along Linehan is "saving" a lot of those plays (and players) for this stretch.

I might would make the Bears game a W and give an L to one of the Eagles games.

Frankly, it is so difficult to tell what is going to happen in the NFL these days that even the fans almost have to just take it game by game. Things can change so quickly.

I will say this: If Dallas continues to be the most physical team on the field, they'll win most of their remaining schedule. That physical style that they've showed all year is about to really start paying dividends. That means more than anything else this time of year. If they're the most physical team they will run better and stop the run better. They'll control time of possession and the defense will stay fresh.

They just have to stick to what Garrett, Marinelli, and Linehan has had them doing so well all season.

I try not to think past the next game. That being said I see a lot of folks predicting a loss for the Bears and Indy games. The Bears are a much different team than the one that killed us last year. It is a very winnable game. The Colts got manhandled last night by a superior running game. That is our speciality and I like our chances. This week we get Eli again. It's hard playing division teams especially on the road. After yesterday I don't know if the Giants slide will continue or if they rebound. Coming off the bye the Cowboys should be ready and I think they roll the G-Men to reach 8-3.

I agree but I also think Dallas will throw a few wrinkles in along the way. Such as running different plays off of the same formation that teams have been seeing for 10 weeks. I agree you stay with what got you to this point but I think we will show a few different things.

very true..this is only a stab based on all things being as they stand. a couple injuries and a bad bounce make things night and day.

All we can discusses is the body of results we have at this point.

Of these teams, only the Eagles and Colts are any good.

If we can't make the playoffs.with this schedule, we've squandered another great opportunity.

If we lose to the Giants after how inept they looked then Garrett should be barred from the return flight. Of course, if we lose this board will be saturated with posts excusing the loss because the Giants are a "division rival." There is no excuse if we lose next week. None.

Agreed. Though I don't think either of those teams is particularly good.

I worry that if our offense struggles, this defense is going to be exposed. If the offense has an off day, the Eagles, Bears, and Colts could all hang 40 on us.

I don't think we lose to the Colts unless our pass defense regresses completely. The Colts can't run the ball and lost Bradshaw who always gives us problems.
