Yeah teams are going to make us win in the air, especially in the cold of winter.

We need to have our screen and quick-pass game going.

I have really felt all along Linehan is "saving" a lot of those plays (and players) for this stretch.

Yes, but unlike teams like the Broncos, teams are going to have to commit seven or eight guys to the LOS to "force" us to go to the air. There is no team in the league that can stop our running game with a base defense. And no team in the league can stop Romo and Co. playing man to man coverage. Basically, we have what the Patriots have, the ability to beat teams with the run or the pass. Have we had a couple of hiccups along the way? Sure. So did the Patriots.

I can honestly see a lot more passing this week so that Murray is fresher for philly

We're not going pass more just to save Murray for the Eagles. If that's what the Giants give us, then we will. If they don't, we won't. And that's the beauty of the 2014 Dallas Cowboys, they can beat you either way. With that said, I agree. They are going to be so scared of Murray, Romo is going to have a field day.

Absolutely. They have a poor run and pass defense and I don't think they rush the passer well. So I think they are going to need some turnovers and big plays especially on STs.

well, any given Sunday...The yellow hanky people in bad timing situations could hurt as well. You can call holding on any play you like. true story.

I know that all of us weren't around for the 90's teams and may not be able to appreciate the irony of what I'm about to say; but does anyone remember when we would want them to lose a game before the stretch so they could get it out of the way? Because we knew after that they'd play like someone lot a fire in their behinds.

I see Randle getting more carries vs changing our approach on offense.

Wonder how confident the coaches are in his pass blocking abilities? Because there is only one absolutely imperative thing for this team, they must keep Romo healthy. And the best way to do that is to prevent him from getting hit. If Randle is suspect in any way, I suspect you'll still see a strong Murray presence from here on out.

I can also see them using more screens as well to keep defenses honest.

Hell, the Colts look like they have no defence whatsoever. We should have a field day against them. Whether our defence can stop them is another issue.

It is not another issue. They are a bunch of punks, we will destroy their punk offense. There are really only two teams in the AFC that are legit -- the Patriots and the Chiefs. There is no team on our schedule that we shouldn't be favored against. We might not be favored against the Eagles at their place, but that's the oddsmakers' fault. And we very well might be, given how we are going to dismantle them on Thanksgiving.

What are our cowboys facing down the streach?

1.Giants: Record 3-7 Pass "D" rank 25th Rush "D" rank 32nd (off bye week its time to handle their business) ( Murray should have a nice day and further Tony's rest)

2.
Eagles: Record 7-3 Pass 'D" rank 28th Rush rank 20th ( This bottom 1/3 "D" was not the total cause of the beat down Philly took Vs the Packers. 2 ints, 2 fumbles and a punt return for 75 yds did. Clean that up and we have a game.

3.
Chicago: Record 4-6 Pass "D" 27th Rush "D" 15th ( again, must take care to put the bad teams on the couch)

4.
Washington: Record 3-7 Pass"D" 9th Rush"D" 10th ( got to have this one no gimmies) ( crazy as it is out of the remaining schedule the Commanders match up well)

5.
Colts : Record 6-4 Pass"D" 28th Rush "D" 17th ( Brady, simply played "Keep away" from the Colts... controlled the clock for almost a 10 minute spread difference and pounded the rock. Both QB's had very close stats, turnovers no real surprises here. it was the real butt kicking of the day. Dallas is taylor made to repeat this performance. love it.

I like our chances...get better Tony as this might be the year to take all those loud mouths to the woodshed.

Talk it up guys...i've given you all the room you need. ;)

Nice breakdown. :)

I have always said. It would be a shame if Tony's undrafted story, the Dallas cowboys and rise through the QB rankings... If he didn't get a Super Bowl it would be a damn shame.

I have also said before I think Murray is Romo's Terrell Davis. It worked for Elway!
Romo won't be able to sling us to victory. Better ride that horse to the title.

Maybe I'm being somewhat of a homer here, but I'm thinking we run the table.
This ain't the same old Cowboys.

Of these teams, only the Eagles and Colts are any good.

If we can't make the playoffs.with this schedule, we've squandered another great opportunity.

This Garrett we are talking about

"Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory" comes to mind

If anyone can do it, he can though this year linehan / marinelli might not let him lead the team down in flames in epic fashion as he has accomplished in the last 3 years

I don't know about anyone else, but I think Indy is the easiest game left on the schedule.

NY/Wash - usually a tough, demanding game
Philly - these two games could go either way
Chi - big receivers and I never know which Cutler will show up/and they play well against us at home
Indy - decent team but not intimidating to me, at all

Yes, NY and Wash are both horrible but they will be more difficult than the Colts IMO.

Giant- w
Eagles- w
Bears-w
Colts- W
Skins- L (only because we have wrapped things up before this game and starters are sitting) :)

If you were right on all the others in the games I think the starters would still be playing in Washington because the number one seed would still be up for grabs.
