Malik Davis Had 9 Less Carries Than Zeke

Just because Pollard is out Davis should have had a more even load as 21 . No point in running Elliott into the ground when the overall fresher back is standing on the sidelines.

But still had 2 more rushing yards.

The run game was bad overall, but Zeke with 1.9 YPC tonight is a big yikes.

I think the only way Pollard might have stood a chance of doing better is on some of those pitch plays. Zeke doesn't have near his speed to the outside and the Titans were just whipping our line up the middle against the run outside of a few plays. Didn't help that we had some problems keeping our footing.

Garbage thread. Davis had a 23 yard run, he averaged half a yard on 9 carries outside of that.

LOL so now we deduct long runs? When people would do that with Elliott to show how he was largely ineffective in a game, people argued you can’t do that.

Fact is our run gane is decent, at best. But Elliott is just a regular back in this league at this point. There’s nothing special about him. He’s just a tough runner at this point.

The blocking was poor. But, how did Zeke look to y'all? Are y'all saying he didn't look good only because of the blocking?

Zeke is a shell of his former self as a runner. His vision is poor and his speed and balance are below average. His blocking is his major strength and I’d consider moving him to FB next season as long as he agrees to a paycut.
Zeke needs to take a pay cut to fullback money because basically that's the role he'll be playing, short yardage, pass blocker.

There might be one fullback in the NFL making over 1.5 million per year. Fullbacks don't see the field and have almost no value. Zeke can't run and is worthless a receiver.

He's been targeted 21 times with passes and netted only 92 yards. Don't think any other high-usage RB in the league is so useless as a receiver.

Just need to say goodbye. 7-season old running backs are toast 98% of the time, as is Zeke.

Tough run defense. Horrible play calling. We knew going in Zeke wasn't going to have a big night.

Give a kid like Davis (with speed) and his ypc is going to be higher.

The Titans defense is just that good. If Pollard would have played he would had at least one big chunk run. That’s why Pollard is the #1 player to extend this off-season.

Now you have Zeke and Dak to whine and hate on.
Dude give it a rest.
Is this going to be one of your theme posts / threads all week now? Repeating it over and over.

Outside of his 1 run, he did nothing better than Zeke. Zeke's average is down, because they only needs 1 or 2 yards for a 1st down or a TD. The KEY was to get the 1st down, not break some long run.
