CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
Jimmy Johnson's roster and culture won 3 SBs. Jerruh was just along for the ride. Perfect example is Sam Williams, no way in hell would Jimmy allow that clown to still be on this roster, but Jerruh defends him for speeding a 2nd time because he wasn't going as fast as the first time.

Also, wasn't Quinn forced to run mainly zone because our starting CB hurt his shoulder during week 18 and would not be able to play man. Combine that with the fact that we made no attempts to address the CB depth after Digg's was lost for the year. Jerruh decided to play with fire and we got burned.
Whatever....Jimmy is gone...let it go. Now scram

So coaching and playing don't matter, it's ALL Jerry's fault.
Well then why do we want to fire MM, let Quinn walk and cut Dak.....it's not their fault, it's Jerry's fault.
No matter what happens this will always be the default answer for many here even if or when Jerry’s does make good moves. It’s a low hanging fruit argument for many to make to seem like they are in the know. Until they win it all this will just always be the answer and reasoning and even then they’ll say they won in spite of him.

I’m Certainly not a big Jerry fan myself but this is the trendy thing to say until or if we win big again- ironically many of the same posters also have high expectations for the team in one breathe before bashing the gm in the next.

This is epic failure on all fronts….

A FO that doesn’t make poor decisions, but NO decisions…maintaining status quo at a critical juncture in the franchise’s history. A FO that over-values and over-pays talent consistently; fails to address areas of weakness with a cavalier attitude as in “we like our guys”. Well…”your guys” aren’t getting it done.

Coaches with the #1 offense and what…a top five defense during the season get out-coached with the team looking flat and unprepared during the playoff game. These Cowboys getting dominated at home by the #7 seed.

Players more concerned about post-game festivities rather than the matter at-hand. Playing uninspired football with no emotion or passion. Nobody fired-up…just numb, dumb looks on their faces. The Cowboys expected GB to lay down for them and instead they got punched in the mouth and that was it. These players are soft and have some kind of sense of entitlement, living off the accomplishments of Cowboys teams of the 90’s. What a freaking joke!

As other posters here have alluded to, the only way Jerry changes (if at all) is if it impacts him financially…that is how Jerry measures failure; not by the dearth of playoff wins or Super Bowl appearances over the past 28 years.

So look for Dak to get extended on another ridiculous contract; look for the coaching staff to remain intact; expect reaching for players in the draft and bargain bin FAs to be signed for positions of need that will go unaddressed yet for another season. Look for Dallas to beat the weaker teams like the Jets and eat the cheese…only to disappear in the big games.

It would be nice to bring in an energetic, innovative coach instead of the retreads or novices Jerry hires…but we all know Jerry’s ego won’t allow this…Jerry so desperately wants to be seen as a football guy.

Watching the Cowboys is like watching “Groundhog Day”

Yeah, even when it's been unequivocally proven and all logic and facts point toward Jerry being the issue, there are still some who go to the same old default answer of blaming others. It's just so weird.

Unequivocally proven it’s Jerry by whom? Half the posters here who blame jerry after a loss are the same posters who say the team should be in the championship game at minimum all year because the team is talented. The talented team of course put together by Jerry. Same thing the media does. They tell us how good we are and then when they fall short it’s Jerry Jerry Jerry. How can the team be both talented and well put together and suck at the same time?

Jerry absolutely deserves blame. He absolutely meddles and he absolutely gets in the way at times but these issues simply aren’t JUST a “Jerry” problem. Jerry wasn’t out there missing tackles or throwing the ball to the other team. the players need take accountability as well. It’s collectively an issue. If you wanna say that the mishaps ultimately fall on jail as owner /gm? Sure

But it’s just low hanging fruit stuff to blame EVERY short coming on Jerry. Simpleton stuff. It’s a collective mix of Jerry/bad luck/ and eras where our good teams just weren’t close to dynasty teams like the pats or others despite being loaded.
