I love how when he's about to be tackled he takes that lunge forward like he's trying to bust through a wall head first. And that is the one thing that has always stood out to me about him, and in my book rates him much higher then the unpredictable oft-injured Jones. The injury thing with JJ is a trend that has seemingly followed him now from college to the pros. There is warrant for concern there, great warrant. I would be very happy with a RB switch this year. I think MB did more then enough to show he's capable of a true TC competition for #1. The kid just has determination that gets us first downs and touchdowns, atleast that's what he did last year with it. JJ on the otherhand though could easily drive himself to his next injury by showing too much determination. Two totally different RBs, I feel Barber is the better fit for us. Maybe we should think about just unloading JJ while he's still worth something and going with Barber even if he is our 2nd best. 16 games is a helluva lot better then a possible 1400 yards. 16 games starting and Barber is easily closing in on that type of number- especially this year with TO in the lineup. Jones will never get that unless he stays entirely injury free...which is sure asking a lot - or more like crossing our fingers and closing our eyes wishing 'n hoping as hard as we can. It's like people expecting Glenn's rookie season over and over, only to see injury over and over tripping those dreams short everytime. Too many people are looking to those couple of games JJ's rookie season and praying he gets back to that "form". I have high doubts that will ever happen.
