It is irrelevant because it has nothing to do with whether he is a disciplined player or good in coverage lol.

Then they have to wait on the waiver claims to get him, if any other team ahead of them claim him. Some teams will give up a 7th round pick, or even a future pick.

I am not saying he is worth that, or some team would. But there is always that possibility. We seen it before. With other players and other teams.

I think Parker had mentioned he valued instincts in defensive players. Definitely not a trait that comes naturally to Luifau. As a linebacker even.

So I can see the logic behind minimizing Luifaus role to just "rushing the passer" so that he doesn't have to over think things.

That way hopefully there is some value left to salvage in this player.
If he can't do that I think he will be cut.
