Was it me, or did Marshall look really ticked off after the game? As soon as Rich Eisen hands Dallas an atta boy, Faulk throws in "Wait til next week" with a chuckle. Faulk really showed his bias toward the Saints.

He looks like someone tinkled in his corn flakes when Ware was sitting next to him.

Al last week he was talking about Romo not coming up big in a big game. "He's got to show me something" was what I believe he said. Well?

nothing.

I like Faulk, and think he's one of the best on NFL network, but that was really lame. I expected better.

I think I hate Faulk. He reminds me a lot of the way Emmitt spoke when he was an analyst. Which is to say he sounded like a tard using fake words and no understanding of tenses. But Emmitt got called out for it and Marshall didn't.

He was a good player, no doubt, but his analysis is shallow and obvious.

To be honest I think Jamie Dukes is the best on NFL Network. He is the only one that seems to try to validate his opinions and doesn't just pick his old team(s), cousins, or man crushes (mooch+favre).

Ps I hate Rod Woodson and his greasy hair and his constant steelers/ravens agenda.

Didn't Faulk grow up in NO?

Yes, they were saying that he used to sell popcorn at the games when he was younger. He grew up a saints fan. It was nice to see him eat his words after the game. It seemed like he just sheepishly sat there in his own misery.

Maybe he hates Romo because Romo is a better golfer then he is. Marshal used to always brag about his golfing ability. :)

Wow, happy birthday dude!

The Cowboys always lose on my birthday haha.

I wouldn't say that too loud...you might get sniped :shoot3:

But Faulk has been anti-Cowboys all season. I can't stand listening to that Clown so I turn the channel whenever his feminine lips start flapping.

Not picking on you but the comment reminds me of the double standard regarding Aikman. People hate it when guys tout their former teams but get all over Troy when he says anything negative about the Boys.

I happen to like Aikman because he will say it like it is but still considers himself a Dallas Cowboy. He has let slip a "we" occasionally when talking about the current Cowboys team. I would much rather have that than the incredible bias of a guy like Sonny Jurgensen.

I don't mind Rod Woodson's agenda so much because he does have some good analysis at times when it doesn't involve one of his former teams. You learn what to expect from him but others can't say anything about any team without bringing it around to their agenda. Faulk is becoming one of those.

I think it is a combination of things. Growing up in NO I guarantee you there were a lot of Cowboys fans. He probably got tired of people not supporting the local team. The Cowboys were everything the Saints were not.

Also I think he is still bitter about not getting the interview a couple years back when the NFL Network was televising a game.

Sour grapes. It happens when you open your mouth and say that there is absolutely no way a team can possibly beat another team. More often than not making those kind of claims will comeback and haunt you.

I'm sure Michael Wilbon is somewhere crying right along with him though. He hates it when the Cowboys win.

...and Mark May

The birthday is now complete. The Cowboys won. AS I PREDICTED they would. *Ahem* Sorry DaBoys4Life and people like chinch. I guess now, the Commanders are about to kill us and Philly is a much better team. ...... we haven't got a chance.

Happy Birthday! I honestly don't know what team will show up next week vs foreskins. I certainly hope there isn't a let down because this was such an amazing game they played last night. I hope they can use last night as enough motivation to go undefeated from here on out. :star:

As I said in another thread, Faulk, Dukes and Woodson have a seething hatred of Romo. It goes way beyond just generic Cowboy hatin' ... it's something personal. I don't really know where it comes from, because Romo is the farthest thing from an unlikable person. Maybe it's because they constantly have Deion in their ears with his TO agenda sliming Romo. Then again, when I see Tony Dungy constantly going out of his way to insult Romo, a part of me thinks this is just a thing among African American coaches and players (professional athletes by rule are generally pretty stupid and under-educated people who have been coddled most of their lives at a young age).... they resent Romo because TO was ran out of Dallas for some sort of ridiculously perceived racial reasons.

The first bolded part maybe. The second bolded part i think is a bit of a stretch. Maybe they just dont like Romo because he has been hoisted up and hasn't done much in terms of post season success. Maybe they don't like the Cowboys, so the Qb is an easy target. Romo has deserved alot of the criticism he has gotten over the years. Some of it has been unwarranted, but Romo has proven to be inconsistent

The same TV people that hate Romo, seem to be the same ones that hate Notre Dame. Odd.

Yes, Faulk was absolutely hating it after the game. I bet Dungy is feeling similiar and I am so glad that Romo called him out publically.

Faulk is just like the other analysts (Irvin, Woodson) who are homers. What would anyone expect from him. Like Aikman, he is a good analyst - he did mention that Jerry didnt think that Wade was a motivator like Payton.

Overall, he is the best analyst on NFLN. All business.

I seriously want to punch Marshall in his face you guys have no idea. I would pay good morning for one punch to knock that stupid smirk off his face. Wow this idiot has no clue. I listened to approx.15 seconds before turning the channel again because of that clown. He is a true idiot and I hate listening to him. Please fire him NFLN because I can't bare listening to ESPN either and this fool is starting to sour my opinion of NFLN as well.

Look at the way Marshall is acting right now on NFL network. He cannot hide his frustration and anger up there. While all the guys was joking up there, he just sits there looking annoyed by the conversation and couldn't even try to say anything positive about what Romo is doing this month and the win last night.

Best analyst? Did you just hear the idiotic non-sense coming from his mouth when talking about the Cowboys in December? That fool has no clue.

Exactly. He couldn't even give Dallas credit for a good game last night and refused to acknowledge Irvin's claim that Romo is playing great football. Instead he passes Irvin a card with the record of the Cowboys records under Romo for the last few years as validation that Romo is still not getting it done for Dallas. I'm so heated right now.
