I don't think he wants to go out like that, I have a feeling he will be back in 2025.
Exactly...........players are not stupid, they know what the deal is.I don’t think he cares about a ring. It he did he would’ve left.
Exactly........this team does not operate in a way that is conducive to winning in the playoffs, we have 30 yrs of evidence that proves it.Every players does not get to play for a team that wins a Super Bowl. He chose to stay with the Dallas Cowboys. He knew their track record in recent decades and how the franchise conducts business.
Yeah, kinda weird fans think he wasted his career.I’m not sure why fans think his career has been wasted.
He’s had an amazing career which will be rewarded with a HOF induction.
A "part-time Oline coach to help" isn't a thing...Not in the history of football and not next year. Not formally or informally. Cap money and roster spots just mean too much, and I don't think Martin wants to come back and ride the bench.Or, he could surprise everyone and sign a much cheaper 2 year extension where he agrees to be a part-time player and part-time Oline coach to help
Yup.I don't think he wants to go out like that, I have a feeling he will be back in 2025.
Yep. I don’t do the whole “oh Dallas wasted so and so’s career”. Nope because you re-signed. I don’t feel bad for any of them.Exactly...........players are not stupid, they know what the deal is.
You play in Dallas to get paid, not win rings..............if you want a ring, you go play for another team, we have multiple examples of that happening.
Its a decision every star player has to make, do I stay in Dallas and take the bag (see Dak) or do I take less money and go win a ring with a true contender (see players like Demarcus Ware).
Yet his PFF grade is good. 65Good, he's been awful.
Not yet.Great player, time to retire.
Well, his career is done, at least in Dallas. Future HOFer, another wasted
Dont you EVER tell me that!!!All HOF linemen don't make it to a Superbowl. Just how it is.
