Cochese;3238190 said:Wade wouldnt do that, and you know he wouldnt. He had a chance to rub the Eagles noses in it the last game of the season. He diddnt, he had class.

if it were the other way around, you wouldnt be so angry. you would be so happy that the Boys rubbed Favre and the Vikings noses in it.
ouch.....Avaj;3238148 said:No both of you are. You are mans that can't take a lost like a man. I'm female and taking it better then you guys. We got beat, end of story.
Do you watch basketball? How about baseball? So if they are up 20 pts or so/many runs they are suppose to stop playing the game? Why does it have to apply to football??superonyx;3238223 said:But the vikings showed they lack sportsmanship with that play.

There were threads here earlier in the season that called for us to bench Romo/cut Romo/trade Romo.
So since those threads "exist" does that mean its a good idea?
superonyx;3238240 said:No but this thread is in response to our players reaction. To the reaction of the Fox post game debate. In response to an article written about it.
So if it wasnt an issue then why is everyone talking about it?
There is a difference between some fans over reacting and starting a thread and players, reporters and commentators talking about something and whether it was right or wrong to do.
I'm sorry you cant see that.
Carry on
Biggems;3238221 said:See there you go again being judgemental. If a team scores when they can, they are classless. If a team sits on the ball, they show class.
If a coach wants to kill the clock, cool. If he wants his players to try and score, cool. I have no issue either way. If I were coach, I would try to score.

As a matter of fact, many people had a problem with Jimmy Johnson at Miami because he did do it.
I remember the game where he completely destroyed Notre Dame and that was the last game for Notre Dame's Head Coach.
Folks, "Margin of Victory" was just recently removed the BCS equation.
Running up the score is more common then some folks want to admit.

Vintage;3238248 said:Exactly! Since our team is involved, of course, its going to generate responses. Duh.
If this happened to the Jets or Chargers in the game right now... I wonder what the response would be.

This isn't Pee Wee Football in Texas.
This is Professional Football where guys get paid millions of dollars and equally millions of dollars are on the line every Season.
This is a subject where everyone has their minds made up as to whether it was right or wrong, so I am not going to go back and forth on it.
From my point of view, the Vikings sent a clear message to the folks in New Orleans that they are coming for the NFC Crown and that their "demise was greatly exaggerated".
Not to play Nostradamus, but I am pretty sure if the shoe was on the other side, most Cowboys fans wouldn't have had a problem with it.
Now the Vikings can go into the NFC Championship Game with the Mantra of "We completely destroyed the hottest team in the NFC and maybe the NFL, so we can beat anybody"
Again, 60 Minutes of Hell!
Yes I have. You play sports to win, not have mercy.superonyx;3238265 said:Teams dont stop playing however in all those sports the way they play changes based on the score and game situation. I guess you have never played organized sports where you coach taught you to show some mercy for the losing team. Have you ever seen a basketball game where a team is up by 20 with 2 minutes left and they keep all the starters in the game and play a half court press defense?
