Marty B..." I wanted to hit favre in the mouth"

That's statement is beyond stupid. It's a cheap TD, because no one is expecting that play. And no one is expecting that play because it's completely unnecessary is the result of a complete lack of class.
bull****. There were 20 people at my friends house and every one of us were looking for a pass to the endzone.

We have to go up to Minnesota next year?

That's gonna suck unless Favre is retired.

I didn't like the move... and I can assure you there is NOTHING feminine about me...

I just grew up in an era where sportsmanship is a part of the game...

trickblue ;)

Did they spit on our players? Take a leak on them? Is all the trash talk between plays good sportsmanship? I can't imagine what goes on in the bottom of the pile most plays is enjoyable. They scored points, which they are paid to do. We couldn't stop them. Big deal.

yeah and marty did, he was very complimentary of how great allen is and how great their defense played. he gave them all the credit and said their defense is and did play great.

And that is the point, it was already proven everyone knew it. Both teams would hate to have guys get hurt late and they run that play.

Without sportsmanship none of these sports would be around right now.

What favre did today was nonsense, everyone knows it. If deion sanders or owens did something like this he would get grilled. But the almighty favre will get a pass cause of who he did it against.

Yet his tweet about the last TD couldn't be posted here due to the F-bombs.

I'm more interested in Martellus Bennett improving his play and maximizing his alleged talent than what he has tweeted or talked about or pre/post game pressered about or anything that comes out of his mouth.

We have a different view of sports then. It is a very mediocre way to see sports as just something to win even if its for 1 point, me as a fan i want my team to score as many points as possible and make the other team score the less possible points. Why would you win for just 10 points if you can win for 40 ? Players should play for their fans, not for the opposite players or the opposite fans.

There are a great deal many fans who would be more proud of their team if they showed sportsmanship in that situation rather than ruthlessness. In fact, how do you know that they are not the majority?

Marty B takin Keith's pre-game speech a little too seriously.

Maybe because im not north american and we see sports different here, but i want my team to win as many points ( or goals in our football ) as possible and im sure 90% european and south american fans think the same as me, and the proof is that when players do this they get booed badly to make them play hard again.

Then we agree to disagree...

and FTR, I've long been on record as not liking trash talk...

I hope the Cowboys remember that and use it when Dallas plays @MIN next season

Marty b just said on the postgame show that what favre and the vikings did was wrong and did not show respect to the game and that the team already talked about it in the locker room because we go up there next year again.

He said they already beat us and there was no reason to embarrass us.

Thank you marty b.

Favre and childress are going to regret that, no doubt about it...you simply dont do that stuff.,

That's all fine and good, but you know what ? doesn't matter. The way to " show them " is by next year winning the Superbowl.

Keep the mouths shut, show up next year to their backyard again, and beat them. Don't make a fuss about it in the press, don't print any posters, don't hang any articles on the lockerroom. Just show up, beat their butts, and go home.

Its amazing how people will dismiss getting spit on like that. It was incredibly disrespectful and if it were the cowboys that did it i would feel the same way.

The Dallas Cowboys embarrassed themselves from what I watched.
We are just used to coach cotton balls never stepping on the throat of the opponent. This is pro sports not tiddly winks.

The Vikings sent a message to the Saints. I don't blame them.

They didnt sent a message to the Saints. Did you see the Saints game?
