Marty B..." I wanted to hit favre in the mouth"

All the BS about "if you don't like it, do something about it" is just that. BS. Even Childress kinda called Favre down after all the celebration. I think that was all Favre. Regardless, it was low brow as hell.

Obviously too many here have no idea what the term sportsmanship means. No surprise. It was around a longtime before PC was ever known. In many ways it is the opposite of PC. But then again the ignorant know nothing.

My question still stands, the Cowboys were calling all their timeouts and throwing on every down. They went for it twice on 4th down deep in their own end zone.

A good sport runs three times and punts? I'm sorry, I just don't see it.

Good sportsmanship means playing within the rules, treating each other with respect, and playing your best game. Sportsmanship is important. It's not an issue here.

Would it surprise anyone if Favre called that play on his own?

Regardless, I hope the Saints snap one of his ACLs and send him to retirement for good.

I'm tired of his indecisive ***.

The Dallas Cowboys embarrassed themselves from what I watched.
We are just used to coach cotton balls never stepping on the throat of the opponent. This is pro sports not tiddly winks.

The Vikings sent a message to the Saints. I don't blame them.

Idiotic statement. You embarass classy Cowboys fans. Go take some lessons.

i liked what Aikman said "you don't like it? do something about it" -- don't ***** if your D isn't playing hard and you get scored on.

:hammer:

It is shocking to see how some Cowboys have been whining about this subject.

I could careless.

As Troy Aikman said, if you don't like it do something about it.

This team is way too talented to get destroyed 34-3.

I dont agree with the "lets stop playing great because the other team sucks", if you are better than the other team you show it and try to embarrass them as bad as you can, thats what sports are... a competition.

The only thing that's "embarrasing" is that so many of my fellow cz'ers seem to have no knowledge of (or interest in) the concept of sportsmanship.

That's the culture nowadays. Everyone thinks it's noble to be ruthless and selfish. Partly because that's the only thing some people have going for them.

4th and 3, ball at the Dallas 11 with 1:55, Minn leading 27-3, and you go play action and throw for the end zone.

That's pretty much the definition of not treating your opponent with respect.

:lmao: So "classy" Cowboy fans just come to a message board and whine like little girls about the score? Gotchya, keep on being classy.

Like Jimmy Johnson said... "this is football...if you don't want them to score...it's your job to stop them".

I can't stand crybabies...Shut your mouth and take it like a man!

C'mon..I could understand kicking a field goal to make it THIRTY TO THREE, but a playaction pass?

It was an obvious ploy to rub Dallas' face in...that's all it was.

It wasn't "playing 60 minutes because anything can happen."

It wasn't "well they're throwing it all four downs so we better do the same since the SCORE IS SO FREAKIN' CLOSE..."

Total joke.

The goal is to win, not to embarrass the other team.

Classless or not, it was pretty stupid to have Favre throwing in that situation. If he gets hurt 1 week before the NFC Championship in a game that's already been decided, then what??

An idiot move by Childress and he's lucky it didnt cost em.

Stop crying. You didn't want them to score we shouldve stopped them. It's not the vikings job to stop scoring.

No offense, but looking to Jimmy for insights about sportsmanship is like getting marriage advice from Tiger Woods.
