I was just talking about his rushing totals. He has never been a good finisher or goal line back.

100 dump offs is an outlier but is why he was solid in FF.

Sure anytime a back gets 100 receptions it is an outlier, but Forte has always been a big part of the passing game. He had 74 receptions the season before and has only had less than 50 receptions once in his career. His 7.9 yards per reception last season is pretty good. That is more than several other notable running backs averaged last season. The guy is a very steady weapon. If his salary were more reasonable I would be all for bringing him in for a season.

I sure hope the Cowboys stick with the youth movement...and I hope the management knows something we don't about the current RBs on the team.

Me too.
They do see them every day in practice...and nothing that Randal did in games last year said he was a problem.
DMC is a wild card.
Also, they won't stand still if they don't like what they see this preseason.

Exactly. Stephen Jones did say that Chris Johnson was on the short list.

I couldn't believe when I read that DMC is still only 27 years old.

True.
He's young for his draft class....only 6 mos older than Murray.
Forte and Chis Johnson ...his 2008 draft class mates--are nearly 2 years older.

It will be interesting to see if Chicago keeps him at that salary. They did draft Langford.

He might be a late cut.
