What?????? You take him in a heartbeat. He might be wearing down...but he has more tread on the tire than McFadden.

Exactly. Also Forte is nasty as a receiver. He literally is the only reason the Bears have been semi good the past handful of years.

First off the Cowboys would need to clear enough space to accommodate Forte's base pay of $7 mil this season.

Then you have Fort's performance...

The guy is a decent back but he's no great shakes.

Lifetime 4.2 YPC average.

Last year he averaged 3.9 YPC on the season and his longest run from scrimmage was a whopping 32 yards.

On top of that he's 29 years old.

Given that they are the same age, I'd take Chris Johnson over Forte. Wouldn't cost a draft pick and the salary is much more palatable.

I wouldnt trade any of our OL for a RB. Dont get why everyone wants to trade away a position of strength on this team, that already is the deepest in the league, and will soon prove to be the best in the league, to aquire a RB,, like we need another RB right now.
Im sure several will be brought in throughout the course of the season, bottom roster churning, but until we have evaluated what is current on this roster, I see no reason why this team will be bringing a RB via Trade.
Now FA is another story, Tate, Thomas = free.

Exactly.

You've got Chris Johnson out there.

You've got Moreno out there.

If this team wants an aging back, Steven Jackson is out there.

None would cost a draft pick.
