Absolutely. Those folks saying we should simply cut him are just being silly because they're frustrated. He is not expensive to keep, he won't count towards the 53-man roster and he is potentially talented enough to be a starter at some point. What's the problem?

Agreed, this is best case scenario. I don't think he'll ever start a game for the Cowboys, but it's still the right choice for now, just in case.

Yes, just because. I guess Johnson being out for what will be his 2nd full season due to injuries isn't enough reason to move on. The talent and potential is there, but durability will prevent this guy from being on the field.
