I was rooting for the guy, but he just can't stay healthy. Impossible to rely on a guy like that. Time to cut him loose and bring in guys who can compete.

That's like saying everyone has a posterior anatomical body part...so that should be used in all situations, first.

LOL. It will not benefit the Cowboys to cut him now imo. I willing to wait, he really isn't costing us anything. If he can't play or is injured and can no longer play, or tries to get his equipment adjusted then he will be cut.

Hopefully it is not severe. I wonder how much creatine is still being used. The only time I pulled my hammy was when I used creatine heavily. It really does a number on your hydration in spite of the strength gains.

Playing college ball and getting drafted by an NFL team is an accomplishment. What have you accomplished that's better?

I have accomplished a lot in my life. That isn't relevant though because Johnson has yet to prove he is worthy of our attention or admiration as a part of this team. I'm not going to hero worship somebody just because a player got drafted by my team. He has yet to earn his spot on this team and to date had been carried. If he can't play and contribute them I don't want him on my team. Thus far he's shown to be dead weight.

Haters gonna hate. I guess being able to pat your head while rubbing your stomach simultaneously is quite the accomplishment for you, lol.

Good one!

Seriously, now we defend a nobody that's been hurt his entire "career" and troll other fans with the "they made it to pros, why don't you do something" act?

Defending this team at all costs is getting out of hand.

Too bad. Hope he's out more as a precaution than injury. I'd like to see why they think so much of the player. Might be a day to day thing or might be worse. Let's wait and see before we cut the guy on the spot. I get the discouragement though.

Telling like it is impossible right now, is his injury season ending? Will he practice tomorrow? Will he play in the preseason game? Until those questions are answered you are just part of the crowd that's hoping wishing he is cut to prove a point. I would love to see the kid play prior to labeling him a bust.

Also, is fans screaming for Carter to be cut after getting his equipment adjusted telling it like it is?

I don't know anything about the Carter noise. I'm just commenting on the guy that has followed the same script the last three seasons. The guy that can't even make it through half of training camp the last three seasons without getting injured. The guy that has never played a down of meaningful football since he has been here. That guy is Matt Johnson. So make sure you are aware of who is talking about what here and direct your comments to them accordingly.

Who knows if he'll practice tomorrow. Who knows if he has a season ending injury. Who knows if he'll play in a preseason game. At this point, who really cares?!

At this point he is a waste of a roster spot. An experiment that has already been done ad nauseam with the same result.

I am part of the crowd that wants us to put football players on the field that can stay healthy so that we can find out if they can help us win a Super Bowl. Matt Johnson has PROVEN that he cannot. And that's not my opinion or some hogwash I am just saying because you think I have some personal dislike for the man, that's a fact jack.

LOL, we have fans ready to cut Bruce for taking a water break or better yet getting his equipment adjusted..Some fans, lol.

To be fair, there were various media reports that he left the field because of injury.
But I agree with you.

Yeah, they have 90 roster spots and I think they have 3 open already due to PUP guys. Doesn't really do anything to cut him at this point.

This kid needs to be shown the door. Has never done anything on the field to deserve such a free ride. You can't preach rkg and at the same time keep a guy who doesn't take his profesion seriouse enough to keep his hamstrings loose. Anyone who louds his play in college is the reason to stick with him needs to rethink that becouse this guy is supposed to be a pro. Give his snaps to someone hungry and willing to do what it takes to make plays on the field and EARN his paycheck, not pull up at every twinge and go home for the year and collect a free paycheck. Kid is a bad example to other players that you don't have to be prepared and you don't have to be tough and you still get paid.

He needs to go asap. Give his spot to someone who wasn't created with clay. Dude crumbles every chance he can get.

You don't know anything about him. They have said he has been working his butt off.

Getting this far? He has yet to play a game? He's being kept on potential only. He has no accomplishments, no skins on the wall, and your characterization that is low class for people to criticize him is simplistic at best.

He was signed by an nfl team. That's a lot further than 99 percent of people who have played organized football get. When your in the top 1 percent of your field or profession I think that is quite an accomplishment for any person.
