At this point, even if he did show flashes of being a great player....it wouldn't be for long every season before he gets injured. So what's the point of even keeping him anymore.

Prognosis : Out indefinitely.[/quote]

I'm thinking that there just comes a point where a person has to assume the pain and works through it all...or just quits.

The price tag is not a problem when Jerry Jones is involved. Claiborne's problem is that they must amputate in order to fix the problem.

I thought we were talking about Oscar Goldman fixing Matt Johnson. It was only 6 mil for Steve Austin but with inflation Jerry will have to shell out some big bucks.

The price tag would be up to $100 million back in 2008 according to CNNMoney. Jones would shell it out. Shoot. He might be tempted to sacrifice Jerry Jr. as a burnt offering in order to brag about being right about Claiborne.

While it's easy to poke fun, I can't help but feel sympathy for Matt Johnson. This kid has busted his butt rehabbing the same injury while chasing his NFL dream. To have it (likely) all go for naught has to really, really suck. Just for a moment, try to imagine how he must feel.

Broaddus and Mickey were making fun of the guy, talking about how he was going to get his back looked at - they thought it was silly to look at your back when your "hamstrings don't work". That's how far we've come.

There was a point where even bringing up moving from Matt Johnson would have had Mickey telling you that you had no idea what you were talking about. Only took 3 offseasons for them to agree it's time to move on.

When even Mickey has publicly soured on someone, that's pretty much the kiss of death.
