Hey, I just posted facts about Stafford's past teams and then YOU started saying "panties were in a wad" or whatever.
YOU are the one that was the *******...for no good reason at all.

And good for you finding a Hall of Famer that once upon a time played on a good to great all-around team other than having a 1000 yard rusher.
Not sure what that has to do with what Stafford had, but at least it was a good find from 30-35 years ago

"Matt Stafford wins" ...REALLY? Then what happened in Detroit all those years? It takes more than just a good QB. This is the ultimate team game. Rams have a great franchise. TOP DOWN. We don't. Ball games are won by doing the simple things very well consistently. We complicate the game here in Dallas. I think its a case of being too cute and having 2 many cooks in the kitchen. Just my opinion. Justs 4 the record, I am a Stafford fan. He reminds me of Aikman in some ways. I luv the fact he will bravely stand in the pocket, taking the big hit to make a play. That is mental toughness as well...KNOWING you will be getting a big hit. Dak 4 some reason, changed...he went from being that guy, to being tentative. I wonder if injuries were lingering with him. me thinks the main issue was 2 many voices in his ear telling him what 2 do. I think Dak will be better without Kellen Moore actually. I think MM needs to become the playcaller and lone voice in Daks headset. Get back to the basics. Singularity in this league DONE WELL..works great.

Who cares? I don't know. Maybe there are some out there who like a different perspective. One that's usually based in fact and figure. I don't make stuff up, and when I offer an opinion, you know it because I don't try to pass it off as fact. Do I have an inflated ego? Maybe. But most of that ego is backed up with knowledge and forethought of what I am saying, and why I am saying it.

Treat me fairly, I do the same. I don't deliberately troll this forum. Never have, never will. I try to post things that are relevant to the topic being discussed. Until I get replies like yours, then I respond in kind. I am not to blame for your short comings, your inability to think about the ramifications of what you say before you post is on you, not me. If that's having an overinflated ego of myself? Fine, guilty. Prove me wrong.

But usually that doesn't happen. So I get crap like "why are you here" and "who cares what you have to say". I say pay attention, you might just learn something. Or don't, continue on... ignorance is bliss, as they say.

iirc Dan Marino never had a 1k yard rusher in his first dozen years...

but I would point out, that while Stafford had 1 thousand yard rusher (gonna trust what you said), he was playing with some talent on the offensive side of the ball... he had multiple 4000 + yard seasons in his detroit years, so he had to be throwing to someone... for starters Calvin Johnson & Brandon Pettigrew, with others mixed in, who aren't exactly no talent players... and i wager those backs of his eclipsed 1000 yards from scrimmage more than a few times over those years...

What's the point here? People like to blame the quarterback, but the better team usually wins regardless of quarterback unless the QB is absolute garbage. The Lions had decent quarterbacks over the years but what did they win with Barry sanders? They got to one NFC championship game and got destroyed. Jesus Christ could have been QB and they still would have lost. In the playoffs the better team is going to win, not the better QB. Ask Aaron Rodgers. Ask Joe Montana in '86 and '90. Team talent and matchups make all the difference.

Elevate to what? That's subjective. The Cowboys were absolute garbage without Romo, so one could say he elevated the team despite not having much success. Other teams have talent too. What is your definition of a QB elevating his team? Apparently it isn't throwing for over 4000 yards.
