So, no player in the entire NFL has led their team to more late 4th quarter comeback wins than Matt Stafford in the last 13 years.

Yet we have some here saying he never lifted his team up?
That's what's viewed here as 'garbage time'.

with 13 of the 38 detroit come backs coming in his two best seasons, '14 & 16... Overall, has a losing record as a starter in detroit... 16 games under .500... you making it sound like he's the next coming of Joe Montana with this drivel...

Elevate to what? That's subjective. The Cowboys were absolute garbage without Romo, so one could say he elevated the team despite not having much success. Other teams have talent too. What is your definition of a QB elevating his team? Apparently it isn't throwing for over 4000 yards.

How about winning the division??? At one point Stafford was running a team with Calvin Johnson, Pettigrew, Bell and Suh leading a defense... Couldn't get it done... folding like a cheap suit in green bay, coughing up the division, playing the packers biotch again... They lost to Romo in the playoffs... Another one would couldn't win when it mattered... who only won one other game in the playoffs... absolutely pathetic

and no, throwing over 4000 yards is a meaningless stat.. Thats just bulk yardage, a number... Jaemis Winston threw for over 5000 yards and still got sht canned in tampa... you guys look at all these stats and think that fantasy numbers and points equate to high level performance in games... Half the reason he was throwing for 4000 yards + per season, the reason why he had 38 4th q comebacks was because they needed to throw because they were continually behind...

go look at his splits and not his totals... the story is written there

Who cares about winning a division? Even after everything you said, Rodgers has 1 more SB than Stafford. Besides the year he had a top 5 defense, tell me when Rodgers has ever elevated his team? Was it in 2011 when his 15-1 Packers lost at home to the 9-7 Giants and the great Eli Manning? Or was it the multiple times he lost to the Colin Kaepernick/Alex Smith led 49ers? Or was it when he was blown out by Matt Ryan's Falcons in 2016? Using your logic, Rodgers is doing a lot of choking. Because he is certainly not elevating his team beyond what they're capable of.

Hey look, Rodgers couldn't get it done again. This time he lost to the first ballot hall of famer Jimmy Garoppolo.

you ever think to yourself, in the dozen years he played in Detroit, Staffords got a shot this year? He throws for 4000 + yards, having a decent Td/Int ratio...

Yeah me neither...

As for Rodgers, hes a great quarterback to takes choking to the next level in the playoffs. Everyone knows that, but nice try at a strawman,

Its the offseason, what else do you have to do? I mean you could clean up all the hot pocket containers in your moms basement "man cave" but i doubt you will...

First of all, I'm too stupid to know what a strawman is. Secondly, yeah, I think they have a shot. I wouldn't put money on or against any team left in the NFC. The teams are too close talent wise.

Hate hot pockets. Man cave? Huh. Sounds like something thought up by a woman.

Do you enjoy all the crow you have been eating lately?

He owes the Bucs’ secondary dinner for leaving Kooper Cupp WIDE open on back-to-back plays to win the game lol.

Dude won the first playoff game of his career, and played perfect. Its amazing what happens when you surround a guy of his ability with talent around him to match. The truth is that if Stafford wasn't mired in the weeds of Detroit for so long, he would be on that Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes level.
That might be a slight exaggeration, but he'd definitely be mentioned in the elite conversations.

I snipped the rest because this is what caught my attention. People want to prove themselves right. Stafford can't win a playoff game. Romo or John Elway will never win a championship. You've heard it before. They'll say this despite countless examples of much worse quarterbacks winning championships. Had Aaron Rodgers not won in 2010, can you imagine the people that would just say he's trash in the playoffs? Most of these people don't understand the concept of a supporting cast. This is the NFL, not MLB.
People here still say Rodgers chokes in playoffs. Just because you lose, doesn't mean you choked, or suck. (As much as I wish could say AR sucks, he's an elite QB)
