Maturity. Zeke versus Dak

i read the posts here everyday. The ones concerning Zeke versus the ones concerning Dak are polar opposites. Dak shuns the limelight and is working hard in camps to improve his football skills ala Brady. He realizes he has to continue to improve yearly or get passed by. Zeke is in the limelight and I think he enjoys being a wealthy young NFL star. It seems he cannot avoid women and partying. I wish Dak would pull him aside and tell him how important it is to work on his immense skills and avoid the fast lane. I worry that something bad will result from all the partying and I know the NFL has him under a microscope. Your input on the two is appreciated. Go Cowboys

I've seen Dak out and about with Zeke as well popping bottles and getting pretty wild, so he isn't innocent at all here, but I think he definitely knows he is the face of the Cowboys now and is the QB... I do think Zeke is headed down the Manziel road, if he doesn't put a stop to the constant partying and having to be with IG groupies.. Go look at all the thots he follows on IG

I dont think putting him in the same mould as Johnny Football is fair at all. Manziel has a huge drug problem, and doesnt care at all about football. Zeke on the other hand loves football, and hasnt had any issues with drugs that im aware of since being drafted.

Well we haven't seen evidence, but I'd say visiting a marijuana shop when you're on a road trip to play your first preseason football game might hint at something, and then there was that text with his ex about an upcoming drug test

There's a big difference in smoking weed vs being so addicted to opiates and cocaine that you can't keep an agent.

The doors open to let in the rookies then are locked again.

How about people go live at their work places, work 24/7 before telling players how to live.

So you are now using the girl who accused him of beating her and texting her friends telling them to lie to the police as a reference.....awesome. Manziel has actually FAILED tests. Comparing the 2 makes 0 sense unless you have an agenda. In which case, all the power to you.

Zeke is a bit of party animal for sure. Even Bosa had to move out of their rental just to get his act together, due to Zeke.

I hear Dak's new GF is a bit of player though.

Plus, its become the new fad for QBs to get a couple of weeks of special training sometime in the 4 month window in the offseason.
WAY more to learn being a pro QB vs RB, as we all know. Almost the polar opposites.
Dak is not doing anything very unusual, actually.
He'll have his fun too....not as nuts as Zeke though.

I suspect Zeke will show up in great shape--which the top concern.

Do wish he'd dial it back at least a little bit. But any guy that runs around with a cutoff shirt (even when in a suit), is a bit of a diva. We knew that coming in.

Some people like to burn the candle at both ends and it really isn't our business to stop them outside of when they aren't getting the job done.

My only advice to EE is you get one shot at being great and you'll be surprised as to what people are not your friends.

No they should not be locked away they should however be reminded they are in the spotlight and their actions will draw more attention than the avg Joe. I like Zeke and I hope he starts using better judgment because even these minor things start adding up to where he loses all benefit of the doubt.

As long as he isn't getting arrested(or accused of something bad), or shows up to TC Eddie Lacy style, then I don't care what Zeke does in the offseason. Not everyone is a choir boy in the NFL.

Zeke was and has always been this guy.
We all shamed Fish for the fluff piece about Romo today but he nailed Zeke last year: Good guy and special athlete who wants to be the alpha male frat boy champion of all things fun and cool.
He needs to stick closer to Witten as he did last off-season if he wants to be an old man NFL player.

All that said, good grief I wish I was that dude, lol. I'd be doing the same things. I did most of them as a fairly broke college 20-something.
