and in the the end everything fell apart around them, Mark Tunie would lose his life to a drug OD. Asking a player to use better judgment in my view is better than turning a blind eye and acting as if anything they do is fine. it is not and could end up hurting his career.

You guys care too much about this kind of stuff. I couldn't be any more interested. Worry about yourself and your loved ones.
Sure. Weed is whatever. But if you're worried about passing a drug test....I think it's fair for fans who devote their time and energy (often foolishly) to be worried about it too. Even if we can't control it.

It's not hard to read the tea leaves and say...hey this is not good. But he's young and will hopefully mature. You can have your fun and not put yourselves in compromising positions. We've also seen careers derailed due to this stuff so it's not like the worrying is completely unwarranted. The guy (rightly or wrongly) has been under NFL investigation from the moment he's stepped into the NFL.

We aren't discussing a Jason Witten type afterall. Or a Barry Church. Guys you were comfortable would not get into trouble.

It'll take one failed drug test for all these "he's only 21" posts to change their tune. He's on a slippery slope. He's getting paid millions to play football, it needs to be his priority

House music sucks too. In fact, any show where 90% of people are on drugs and dressed like idiots shouldn't be called music, it's cosplay to a tune.
First, there aren't people on drugs at house music shows. Second, can you even name a house music track? Your ignorance is astounding.

Hearing old guys on the internet talking about young men in the early 20s enjoying their life and living their dream is amusing.

Neither of these guys have broke the law or been suspended but hearing some talk, you would think we are dealing with ex cons.

He must be thinking of those hardcore raves they had in the 90s and early 2000s where people would do exctacy and start "rolling" to the loud noises and bright lights. That was my experience when I went to Day Glo in Houston.

I didn't use any drugs but it was a lot less people using drugs then the stereotype suggests.

Why is this about old guys commenting on young guys? I, for one, am not confident of any of the ages of any of the posters in this thread, let alone all posters. This, I don't understand.

Yeah, ignorant people automatically associate any form of dance music with drug-fueled raves because we'll, they're ignorant.

I'd be shocked if the people complaining about Zeke aren't 30+

They may be, I have no idea. I just look at that statement and kinda feel like it's pigeonholing folks. I would also point out, to you, that the term "old" is subjective. You seem to think 30 meets that goal. LOL........

Seriously, 30 is not that old but more to the point, this really isn't about age IMO. This is about behavior and having the maturity or intelligence to simply avoid this. Honestly, not a lot of people, if any, are really talking about the partying. They are talking about how public Zeke is treating this behavior. You don't have to be 21 or 30 or 50 to understand that if you do this stuff in front of the media, it's a really bad idea. You can't really be surprised that, after having done these things repeatedly, in public view, the media is following him around for a story. That, is why it's stupid. Of course they are, it's what they do and Zeke made it easy on them by showing them that he is willing to do this stuff in public. This will probably follow him his entire career. There are now always going to be reporters who are looking for him to screw up and that is why his behavior is so ridiculously stupid. He didn't have to do it this way. He could have partied out of the public eye and would never have had to deal with this stuff. Just a really poor decision on his part, IMO.

Dak is more mature, losing your mother at 18 or so will do that to you. However, the teeth gnashing over Zeke having Grokesque fun is pitiful.

I dont think 30 is old in general just relative to speaking about what a college age senior does its old.

Then again most Cowboy fans do not give a damn about Gronk, we only care about Zeke and the other 52 players who wear the star.

I can't say that I agree with this. There are a lot of people, myself included, who believe it or not, were young once. A good number of us also have children who are in College or were in college or were just plain 21. I, myself, have had two in college and four who are at least 20 and under 30. I have a really good idea of what is going on at that age. I also know what comes later and the ramifications of certain actions, contingent to same.

Older doesn't necessarily mean we don't understand. In many cases, it could mean we understand all too well, in fact.

Except you aren't asking him, just talking about it fueling tmz to continue to make a story out of a 21 year old doing exactly what a 21 year old should be doing

True, as I said this is why you see several former NFL players who reach out to these young players. Guys like Chris Carter (Like him or not) he knows about the off the field distractions what can side track and NFL career. There are many others who talk with young players to let them know but in the end it is up to them to listen and learn or not.
