Except you aren't asking him, just talking about it fueling tmz to continue to make a story out of a 21 year old doing exactly what a 21 year old should be doing

Yes I am asking as a fan for him to use better judgment. You say a 21 year old? sure but not in a normal situation, he is a 21 year old who lives in the spotlight he is a 21 year old who the media will keep track of and are ready to pounce when he makes mistakes. It is his life and career he can do what he chooses but I have watch a lot of promising career turn to crap over stupid things that add up over time. Mistake is acting like Zeke situation is like anyone else who is 21 that is complete BS, it is not the same.

I can't agree here rk. You know he isn't just another 21 year old kid and you also know that he can't afford to look at it like he should be doing this stuff. We have played this out, over and over, year after year, with different players and it never works out like that. This kid is going to take the brunt of it and nobody is going to feel bad for him. That's the way it works and we've seen it happen way too many times.

First, there aren't people on drugs at house music shows. Second, can you even name a house music track? Your ignorance is astounding.

I usually enjoy his posts but that was indeed a pretty brash stereotype. I think a lot of people, from the outside looking in, are quick to judge that scene without having any actual experience. Hell, I went to the Paradiso Festival in 2013 and there was every type of person imaginable. Fun time, btw.

True, as I said this is why you see several former NFL players who reach out to these young players. Guys like Chris Carter (Like him or not) he knows about the off the field distractions what can side track and NFL career. There are many others who talk with young players to let them know but in the end it is up to them to listen and learn or not.

Yep. They aren't just normal young people. They are absolutely in a different fish bowl and that's kinda what you sign up for when you decide that you want to play in Pro Sports.

At 21 I made a lot of mistakes and over time those mistakes were put behind me, unfortunately an NFL career does not last that long. I am not asking Zeke to be a saint I hope he uses better judgment and learns quickly.

I agree. Those who want to turn a blind eye are living in a fantasy world, because that is not how things work. These players are followed and reported on constantly every action they do is going to be reported. I would hear the same crap about Randle Joseph that oh that is no big deal it is minor, well minor stuff adds up and putting yourself in bad situations can lead to a lot of problems down the road. You gain a reputation and you are pretty much stuck with it good or bad.

There seems to be a misunderstand in regards to those that think he needs to tone the amount of partying down a tad. I don't think anyone is saying he needs to be a hermit or not have fun. Nor are people saying he can't ever party. I think most people who want him to tone it down, want him to just be more self aware, and maybe be a bit smarter about his situation.

At the end of the day, he can do whatever he wants, but it probably wouldn't hurt him to lay low for a couple of weeks, or at the very least, keep the partying to maybe his house.

If he isn't hurting himself or others no one should give a damn what he does with his free time especially during the offseason. He'll have plenty of people telling him how to live his life, and he'll learn some hard lessons about his lifestyle as most of us have. Eventually he'll see that it isn't worth it but it comes with time and experience but until then I hope he has fun and doesn't mess up too badly.

Maybe not but they do. It comes with fame like it or not. You can say what you choose it will not stop, if he continues to put himself in situation that make him look bad it will be reported fair or not.

That's here nor there. What people should or should not be doing is irrelevant. It's going to happen regardless so arguing over that particular issue is pointless. The fact is that it does happen and it will continue to happen. The more he does it in the public eye is only going to make it harder for him.

I agree with you on the opinions stating he will learn and hoping that he does it before he screws up to badly. I have nothing against the kid. I just see him doing what he's doing and go smh over it all.

BTW, read your PMs.

And he'll get tired of it and stop or hide it better, but I'm not going to contribute to the tmz obsession with people that live better lives than average. I'm interested in his job not personal life and that's the way it should be.

This is what I don't understand. I mean, Zeke being lame is practically impossible. He doesn't need to do all that stuff in order to be all that. He is going to be big time, regardless of if he parties in public or pulls down his girls top or whatever. He's that kind of player but, if he gets on the wrong side of the media, he will crash and burn and the chances of him becoming "lame" are much greater then. If he gets branded as a guy who is rough with his girls or insensitive to certain political agendas, the press will kill him. They will end it for him before it ever gets started. We can argue if that's right or wrong but it won't matter. They will do it and he will not have a chance to stop it. For Zeke, I think that should be a real concern, seriously. They are unfair and vicious in those kinds of deals.

BTW, thank you for doing that.

It does not matter if you contribute to TMZ or any other publication fact is they will report what they are seeing and it will go across the wires and be reported on by everyone including those in the league office, it is the reality they live in. So when people say oh he is 21, that is fine but his world and the typical 21 year old is not the same. I can make a mistake and have time in my life to correct it, in the NFL it is a short career it matters what these guys do on and off the field. The way you think things should be is your own fairy tale not the reality of how things are.
In the NFL every player is under a personal conduct policy so what he does off the field matters not what you think is right

I agree, it is not a matter of what I think it is the matter of how things are. Saying I think players should be left to do what they want in the off season is great but it is not reality it is not how things are and these young men have a lot at risk. It is Zeke life to live as he chooses, as a big fan I just hope he can use better judgment and learn from these issues.

So I was young, stupid like most 21 year olds, and just typical 21 year old. I don't ever recall exposing a woman's breast at 21 or going in a pot store. I think he's suffering from what most young guys suffer from. They have been spoiled throughout their lives as an athlete. Everyone loves them, everyone lets them get away with murder, and he will just have to learn that this isn't high school anymore. I think once he matures and learns that, he will be rolling just like every other person did as they got older. My advice to him and other 21 year olds out there is have plenty of fun, but take your common sense with you when you do.

Dak is smart enough to know the best way to lead is by example. By all accounts he is keeping a low profile this offseason and is working hard to improve his skills. A lot of other Cowboys are likely doing the same, and hopefully Zeke is paying attention.
