Mavs/Heat Finals thread

I just need to stay away from this thread for the rest of the series.

I despise the Heat, and I can't let my desire to needle you guys override my good sense.

We lost but we're fine.

Relax people it's 1 game.

Our bench got outplayed by the Heats bench..lol.. And we just couldn't knock down shots.

We lost.. Big deal.. If we just play half as good as we did in the other series we'll win in 6.

Miami didnt scare me at all tonight.

I gotta admit though that I thought the officials would be better since they are going to be under a microscope because of last time but these guys are just ruthless with the fouls they will call for these guys in situations that hurts us most.

That will be JJT's article tomorrow because he's been tweeting and posting on FB about the Mavs bench ALL night.


And JMO, I saw enough that the refs made some questionable calls on both teams, but nothing that really impacted the flow of the game.

Most people from Houston hate the cowboys (at least from my personal experience) so it's not surprising.

Even though the refs made some very timely horrible calls to help the Heat, this loss falls solely on the mavericks offensive blunder. They need to regroup and come back and play like they want it. Get ready for the next 2 days hearing that the series is already over.

Nobody was making shots at all. Jason Terry is so unclutch now it's ridiculous.

Yeah I agree. It was a pure offensive blunder.

Miami scares me wayyyy less after watching this game.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're one of those "new" heat fans, who was your team last year?

The and 1 calls were what was bothering me. We were letting them have the basket but the refs still gave them the call.

Oh well. They won't beat us if we get our shooting back on track.

been a fan since they moved to Houston. I remember when they played all their home games on channel 39 out of Houston. One of the few channels we got in the small town I grew up in.

I'm not really surprised Mavs lost tonight. I think both teams will make the necessary adjustments and I'll be able to see how this series will shape up by game 2.
