I understand the insecurity, must he tough being in the shadow of a credible Spurs basketball franchise. Would take a toll being known as soft choke artists for years.

Actually I said I'm not a Heat fan so wouldn't care about bragging rights. Not being a hater.

Basically what you're saying is you jumped on the bandwagon last summer and just like everyone else who did the same you're playing the "objective fan" and "hate" cards to leave the door open to jump right back on the Lakers bandwagon next season if they get Howard ;)

I have no doubts you do, front runners are the very definition of insecure fans. If anyone would know anything about that it would be you

Got back from the game. Great game to watch, really good atmosphere, unfortunate ending however. Dirk is a machine but he just can't keep doing it alone. Sadly, based on past history and the fact that I have serious doubts Dallas can take three of the next four from a team this good I believe tonight sealed the Mavs fate. They will probably push it to six and maybe even seven, but Miami just has too many options down the stretch.

Finally, the best advice I can offer with regards to Uno is to just ignore him. The guy is either remarkably unintelligent or just trolling and doesnt deserve a response either way.

hold it your an Aggie you think I care what a Aggie says about me

Dallas isnt going to lose because they choked, they are probably going to lose because it's Dirk vs Wade + Lebron and the Dallas bench simply cannot find their shot. Dirk has been the best player in this series, and the only team to choke at any point in this series is miami and the end of game 2. Missing a contested 18 footer after leading TWO double digit comebacks in one game is hardly choking.

Well there is one thing that Dirk can say about Both losses.

Its not his fault.

1 vs 3 ........ Marion, Chandler, and Kidd are gonna have to give him some help.

nope

but know a CHOKING TEAM when I see one

the same as in 06

Mavs Sputter In Crunch Time

Chris Bosh made a 16-foot, go-ahead jumper from the baseline with 39.6 seconds left and the Heat held on for an 88-86 victory over the Dallas Mavericks

Kinda how im feelin too. We just haven't put 30 minutes of good basketball together in a game yet in this series.

If they will start playing hard for 4 quarters they can easily win but they are just making things difficult on themselves every night.

Jet's 3 was selfish and ended up costing us the game too.

Chalmers extra 3 points didn't help any either.

Don't let Uno troll you guys. Just him being him. It's how he puts his three or four degrees to use.

Thank you! I knew this would be a tough, if not impossible series for the Mavs to win. I'm just glad they're playing all out and giving themselves a shot at the end of games. If Dirk keeps playing this way and the Mavs lose the series he's still the MVP in my mind but I know they'll give it to LeBron or Wade.

Maybe the NBA Don will decide that Dallas should win this series and not the Heat. He might make the refs an offer they can't refuse to make force the Heat to lose like they forced the Kings to lose to the Lakers in 2002.

If we would just knock down open looks we would win this series easy.

I doubt it, the Mavs, apparently aren't sexy enough. I'm surprised the refs haven't been killing the Mavs thus far.

Yep, and quit turning it over and letting them fast break us to death.

Turnovers and missed open looks have completely killed us. They had at least 10+ points off our turnovers last game.

And if Uno has one degree with his literacy rate, I completely give up on the American education system.

I've seen and heard a lot of Heat fans today whining about the officiating and saying they won in spite of the refs. I think it is absolutely hilarious that a fanbase whose only title came as a direct result of poor officiating has the audacity to EVER complain about the refs.

What happened last night was what a game looks like when Wade and Lebron arent rewarded for just thundering through the lane and throwing the ball off the glass in hopes of a foul call and over the back is actually called on a consistent basis. Miami had 13 more fouls because they play so aggressive.

Dirk is slapped on his wrist and/or elbow on about 50% of his shots. I've watched every second of every game and on instant replays of his makes you'd see him getting slapped and there would be no call. This is the first game where the officiating has actually been decent. Except I'm not sure how you miss the backcourt violation when you're a professional referee.
