sorry no longer reading your posts they aren't relative; they are just bad opinions. dont debate with trolls
Bad opinions...like managing the salary cap. How am I a troll? Hilarious. The fans obsessed with Dak Prescott are all the same. They lose a debate and the only reason why is because the other poster has to be a troll. Amazing comeback

first off Hurts could not run our offense, hes a bad fit for most teams, hes an eagle not a cowboy,. Apparently your green is showing so i see you as an eagle fan now.. IGNORE

Managing the cap, we have the 8th qb salary and obviously its not holding us back. apparently not, i see posts saying why do we have so much unused cap space..

Mic drop
.
move on again your opinions on dak are terrible.

If only Cowboys Fans spent a little time watching other QBs during a game (not the highlights, an actual game). That would give them a much better perspective on Dak. The Dak lovers would see his warts, and the Dak haters would see he's not trash. Some say Lamar Jackson is better than Dak because he won an MVP. Sure, but that's too easy. Would Lamar Jackson and his unique ability yield those same results under the coaching staffs here? Probably not. Lamar has weaknesses and Gifts. The Ravens have chosen to build around his gifts and run a unique offense. That's what good staffs do. On top of that Lamar has worked on his game as well.

The unused cap space is there because the Cowboys released Cooper (which in my view was a bad move and could ultimately be the difference in the play offs) to enable the team to stay within the cap having paid Prescott the big bucks and to pay Randy Gregory which ultimately didn't happen and looks to have been a lucky escape. The point is if we had Hurts at QB then we could also have a genuine #1 WR in Cooper and enough cap space for another blue chip player from free agency.

exactly, Hurts and Lamar can't run many teams offenses, most run pro style or hybrid , they need special offenses with unique players to even be close to successful. I would not choose Lamar or Hurts over Dak..

Our issues are more on the OC side..Moore is our Achilles heel IMO

people can not see or appreciate Daks easily atop 10-12 QB and that what most teams hope for, whose elite nowadays , not many..next best thing is a Prescott fans see his $$ and they go blind full hater troll mode..

If it wasn’t for his production the Cowboys would have been sitting home for the playoffs every season. His defenses haven’t been worth a crap until the last two seasons. He was on pace for over 6000 yards in 2020 until he was injured because he had crap for a defense. Stop hating and get real!
Look at his performances against good teams with good defenses.

Not good at all.

I think our own fans really underestimate how Good Dak is lol..

the dude has three top 5 finishes by football outsiders in their DVOA ranking for QB's.

2016 Rank - 4th
2019 Rank - 1st
in 2020 he was 5th in QBR and 8th in DVOA but ranked 19th in DYAR
2021 Rank - 3rd

Dude is not a game manager. You can't win with one in the modern NFL
Pumped-up garbage time stats mean nothing.

Kurt Warner had more criticisms for Moore, than for Dak in his videos. Several times during the breakdown he said "where is Dak supposed to go with the ball?" And Routes running directly into coverages.

I think Dak is smarter than the fans as they think they know it all when they don’t.
We see it on here every 5 seconds.
it didn’t take long like post #2 to derail yet another thread.

Expressing an opinion on the thread topic = derail.

Or rather, expressing an opinion not of the approved narrative = derail.

Not surprising in our society these days. Some people just don't think people should be allowed to disagree.

You are taking it out of context as usual.

Derail as to always posting negative crap when it has nothing to do with the topic. I mean I did express my opinion.
But not surprised coming from you.

Express away though. Care to add something of value when responding to me? You never do.

Just a waste of time on here. It really is.

There is only to humor with as what they are selling is beyond any football reality.
Laugh away at their garbage stats and excuses........trust me there are laughs galore when it comes to Dak lovers......
Wait till Sunday when Dak will be Dak once again and they will be here with excuses and stats.....
P.S.Just hope the defense can carry the BUM cause without Zeke he doesn't do so well.....

You said that he can’t read defenses. His performance against good teams has nothing to do with his ability to read defenses. Only an uneducated football fan would make that claim. The Cowboys haven’t performed well as a team which is why they lose to good teams.

Unless you have something to compare it to, this is a fan made useless statistic.

Oh brother on pace for 6000 yards. It would have been a surprise if he ended with 4000 yards let alone 6000. The fact is there is no earthly way any QB keeps up that pace and we saw it last season with Prescott. Hot start and then absolute fall apart in the latter half of the season. I personally don’t think he ever recovered from that Broncos game.

Just giving you the facts, he was on pace for 6000 yards before that ankle injury. No one knows if he would’ve maintained that pace but he would’ve smoked 4000 yards that season easily had he not missed any games. Despite his drop off last season, he still had almost 4500 yards and wasn’t on near the pace he was the previous season. Some of his drop off I believe had to do with coming off that serious injury in 2020. He seemed apprehensive after he came back from the calf injury and never regained his form. The Broncos game wasn’t some monumental loss like a playoff loss. As a team we were still in great shape after that loss. He still had some very good games after that game.

and now with the play of this defense he no longer has to try to carry the load. Cowboys have not had this kind of defense is many years even during the Romo years defense was always bend but don't break now this defense attacks.

Although we’ve had a terrific pass rush, the best I can remember since the 90s we’re still a bend but don’t break defense and that’s been due to our inability to stop the run consistently. This is why we just traded for a run stuffer. Teams have moved the ball against us, but we haven’t been giving up TDs. That’s the definition of bend but don’t break. We’re going to need more from our QB position if we’re going start scoring more points. Just pounding for 3 yards and a cloud of dust every game is going to keep our score down and prevent us from pulling away from opponents. We have to start passing the ball more and passing it efficiently which isn’t going to be easy with our receiving group. We’re going to have a tough time surviving the rest of the season entering the fourth quarter practically every week in a 10-6 battle. We have to start scoring more TDs. We can’t keep relying on our defense to keep opponents under 20 points every game.
