I think your bow tie is too tight and your brain is oxygen deprived. Some QBs are talented. Some are smart.
Dak is neither but he's a good citizen.

You do realize players are required to talk with the press, right? When a player is asked a question, do you expect them to repeatedly say no comment?I really wish Dak would just not say anything. Just go out and do your job well and give the team all the credit and that team will kill for you. Talk is cheap just let your play show your learning.
Hurts is playing like Dak as a rookie, ball controlled, run first offense that protects the football. However, we didn't pay Dak to be a so called bus driver. Our offense was elite until teams figured out how to defend us by playing more coverage. That is why they wanted to fix their run game in the offseason. If this offense can return to those former levels, we are a legitimate SB contender, but don't think we can win playing with this current formula. What happens when the defense struggles? Just like in the past when the offense had an off game, they had no chance for success. Really believe they need to add another offensive weapon, this is the yr to go all in as the conference is very beatable.Exactly.........remember reading a couple of comments from Hurts after last season about what his coaches told him when he took over the starting job from Wentz. As he put it......they basically wanted him to play a clean game, take what the defense give him and play within himself and they would take care of the rest.
As stated, 20 points a game should be enough but more importantly ( IMO ) is converting turnovers to TDs or a min FGs.
Dak's cap hit is close to $20M this year. His contract isn't to blame for whatever you're getting at.this is an excellent and accurate take imo……if he was paid 25 million a year he would have the talent around him that he so badly needs. If there was no salary cap….I wouldn’t and shouldn’t care about his salary.
When the time comes for extension, and it will, just leave out the no trade clause this time and there is hope. When the time comes trade him for as much value as possible. That's the best chance we have at winning.

I don't think they want to see it, it's sink or swiml Dak is a 4th rd draft pick, no idea what anybody expected from him to be honest. We hung our future at QB on a 4th Rd pick, who is doing exactly what a 4th rounder should be expected to do. Problem is ownership is all in..The Eagles didn't take long to realize their mistake and corrected it. We on the other hand are all in on a guy named Rush in case Dak isn't the answerIf we can see it why didn’t our ownership , front office and coaching staff?
It's not his confidence. It's his inability to read the defense.
In other words, it's his ignorance.
Exactly......be patient, play smart

Dak Prescott Is Grateful for the Cowboys Team Around Him
The QB has a new lease on life after watching his team battle without him for five weeks, and he opens up about what it was like getting back on the field in Week 7.
That set up the rest of a first half through which Prescott, and the guys around him, were testing their boundaries and Prescott himself was testing the thumb.
“There were the two throws that I made early that, not necessarily I want back because they didn’t turn out bad, but yeah, that was my confidence and that’s what I’ve got to guard against,” he said. “It’s understanding that I do have this team, and I don’t have to try to force these balls, whether it be third down or whether it be a tight window. I have to continue to play the game, check it down, put us in field position and trust our defense to get it to back to us.

and 28 teams will have QBs who can not be elite, what's your point? Lmao they dont grow on trees..now find me an elite OC and we will roll. give it a rest..rlaity ios daks is top 10 franchise qb and even those are hard to find.Dak cannot be an elite QB. He just doesn’t have the quick processing capability nor the accuracy to make those tight window throws consistently which become necessary as the competition level increases, i.e., the playoffs.
I don’t know if anyone watched the game last night, but a case in point for one of those throws is one Tom Brady made to Evans last night before half time. He threw into what appeared to effectively be triple coverage at the end of the throw, but because the ball was thrown so perfectly as a back shoulder one near the sidelines it was only where Evans could’ve caught it and did. Brady has done this many times.
I totally disagree it is his confidence. His struggles have been mostly due to a loss of confidence. He’s been dealing with a lot of stuff the past couple of years with the ankle injury and his brothers suicide. He admitted he’s battled depression. Along with the fan base jumping on him it’s taken its toll on him. If he had a problem reading defenses he would have a ton of INT’s with all the passing he’s done over his career. He’s had to carry the team.
I take Hurts on a rookie contract over Prescott on $40 million a season.and 28 teams will have QBs who can not be elite, what's your point? Lmao they dont grow on trees..now find me an elite OC and we will roll. give it a rest..rlaity ios daks is top 10 franchise qb and even those are hard to find.
sorry leave that out of if. Contracts truly dont matter,I take Hurts on a rookie contract over Prescott on $40 million a season.

It's relevant because the Cowboys could have drafted Hurts and be riding his rookie contract right now as opposed to paying Prescott $40 million a season. It's impossible to take Prescott on a rookie contract over Hurts on his second contract because this isn't make believe but what actually happened in real life.sorry leave that out of if. Contracts truly dont matter,
i can play that game, ILL take dak on his rookie deal over hurts on his,..now what?
Prescott's still better no matter what.
To answer your question, yes I would take Prescott on a rookie contract over Hurts on his second contract. But would you take dak on a rookie contract over hurts?
We had the benefit of daks rookie contract and now Philly is getting the benefit of hurts rookie Contract- they too will end up paying for him and it will likely be more than daks deal is if things keep going up.
The point is paying for a top 15 qb is par for the course, this is why qbs that develop quickly in years 1 to 3 are such a big asset to those years bc the dollars can be spent elsewhere.
Unfortunately we're now in the pay cycle and the only way out will be when daks play drops off and we draft his replacement.
Which I hope is a long long way away
sorry no longer reading your posts they aren't relative; they are just bad opinions. dont debate with trollsIt's relevant because the Cowboys could have drafted Hurts and be riding his rookie contract right now as opposed to paying Prescott $40 million a season.
