People sure overstate a general tendency to soft shell descriptions of athletes with a little age as well. Adult athletes in football, can take a lick more so than someone on the street.

Tony Romo won't suddenly become a wooos.

Jake Locker had a reported (perfect) pro day. Yawn. Wentz is much better

Locker never completed more than 58.2% of his passes. His final year, it dropped to 55.4.

Goff as a freshman completed 60.1% and it improved every year, maxing out at 64.5%...literally no comparison between the two.

By then it's too late, just like it was with Troy Aikman, and why this team struggled for several years before getting lucky with Romo. If not for Sean Payton bringing him here, we'd still be sifting through failed baseball players.

Id rather fail at trying to find a Franchise QB with a top 5 pick, than waste a top 5 pick on a CB. We've been there and have nothing to show for it.

I agree. His improvement every year is a good testament to his mental capacities which is WAY underrated by the scouts.
People get too caught up in measurables.

I disagree about him being far more mentally prepared than Wentz.

If anything Wentz is right there with him at worst. He actually played in a pro offense vs Goffs pure spread.

I woudnt really call it a Pro offense ,he mostly threw to his first read a majority of the time just like most college QBs.
