I sadly rewatched the play on nfl video. It was indeed Curtis. Has he not had issues of blocking in the past? I'm sorry. That's ground for cutting. :bang2:

I'm telling you, Folk can punt.

Yeah...But can the guys block for him so he doesn't get killed and we don't have our Field Goal kicker too.

:p:

Todd Archer reports that P Mat McBriar suffered a fractured right foot when Arizona's Sean Morey blocked the punt in overtime. He's expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

We'll let you know as soon as we have some info about potential punting replacements.

I heard from Mickey that Carp let the guy who scored the TD in, and not only let go by, but he was the illegal man downfield on that play.
That's exactly what it was. Curtis let the guy blocked it through the line. Carp led the second guy through and he scored. Release Carpenter.

can someone give me a bit of good news?

The browns and giants play tonight, and if the giants lose things look just a little bit better for us.

Cut them both. Both are dead weight IMO.

Josh Miller is still a FA. He spent some time with the Titans last year and was in camp this year. He did a pretty good job. Probably about the best option at this point.

Tom Malone was recently on the Patriots practice squad. We should take a look at him.

This kid was the second coming of Ray Guy. He went to USC during the Matt Leinart/Reggie Bush era and was hardly ever used. I'd like to see what he'd do with a real opportunity.

Also, if we do sign a punter can we sign someone who can handle kickoff duties as well. Folk doesn't seem to consistently drive those kicks.

Wow, special teams hasn't been very special this year has it? Somebody owes McBriar big time after this. No excuse for getting your punter killed like that.....

Take a page outta Jimmy Johnson's book and release Carp and The Special Teams Coach, see if that shake up works.

I know McBriar is the best, but how hard can it be to punt?

Cant we just sign a street free agent and be ok?

now Tony Curtis was the one responsible.

Why is he even on the roster today, seriously???

I would have cut his arse on the freaking sideline!!!

Maybe you could review our punting problems prior to McBriar and get back to us
