Mike McCarthy noticed a “pep in the step,” of the players but he’s not sure that’s because of what happened Sunday in the NFC East with the Giants beating Philadelphia and Washington losing. At 2-7, the Cowboys are in last place, but McCarthy’s message was clear: they have a chance. “I think it’s only obvious what the four records are in the division and winning the division and what’s in front of you,” the coach said.

Yeah coach.

Everything is an opportunity.

Is anybody listening to anything he says at 2-7?

There's a swagger about this team that I haven't seen in many years.

Amazing what a moral victory and a week off can give you....oh boy, i don't know what else you can put on this pig to make it look lovable....lipstick, eye shadow, powder, earrings, i think they've tried everything. Oh never mind, i thought you said stagger.

The bye week definitely comes at a good time for us, perhaps that pep that was alluded to will be in the steps of Lawrence, Gregory and Smith. We could definitely use an invigorated pass rush. I worry about Jaylon having pep in his step, does that mean he just takes the wrong angle sooner:laugh:

5-11 and a first-round playoff exit?

Or that “pep in the step” could be a rush to get this thing over with. Why prolong suffering?
