I'm not making excuses, but could it also be possible that teams have a pretty good bead on our offense, making it harder for the QB?

Again, not making excuses for Dak who deserves the criticism. Just saying--predictability from either our OC or QB is very bad
Good point, it’s the learning curve that scares me

Yes he wanted KM so Dak didn’t have to learn a new O,
Serious question:
Is Dak limited intellectually?
I have heard this before about Dak having to learn a new offense like it was beyond him.
QBs have to learn new offenses all the time..

What's it going to be then, eh?

When McCarthy was hired he claimed at his introductory press conference that no matter where he was hired Moore would have been on his list of OC candidates if he was available.

You may not believe him but he said it.
He also stated that during his coaching hiatus, he poured over every play for the Cowboys and bragged about having an incubated coaching staff ready to roll, which included Nolan. I don't find him all that credible.

I’m agnostic on Moore. On one hand, it’s always terrible when someone loses their job. On the other hand, it would be nice to know McCarthy has the power to pick his own assistants.

But what if Moore gets canned and we learn it’s not his system that’s limited? The limitation is actually a player for whom the system is compensating.

I'm just warning you all, there really isn't anything out there that's an upgrade.
Maybe there's a qb coach that's learnt from a good oc but the retreads aren't inspiring.

This is a garbage stereotype that follows black QBs and needs to be stopped. Dak scored well on the wonderlic, which is how the league measures intelligence, has a master's degree, and has shown no signs that he can't pick up a new offense.

Decision making is Daks number one issue and that does not mean he's dumb.

As a Boise State fan, I love KM and wish him the best. With that said, I do believe it's time to move on. He will have opportunities elsewhere, but for Dallas, it's time for a fresh face for Dak. Let's see if anybody can squeeze any kind of different play from him these last couple years that we are hitched to him.

I'm waiting to see what happens at OL coach.

And if new Carolina HC keeps James Campen who was McCarthy's longtime OL coach in GB . He would be a front runner.
i assume it has to be a zone block OL coach as that's McCarthy OL scheme per GB.

i'm still wondering if there were internal clashes behind the scenes with OL coach Joe Philibin vs Kellen, vs Management, vs Wil McClay,..etc.

Strange thing is ... Joe Philbin was actually McCarthy's OC for quite some time in GB ...

I see what you did there. Moore’s only pass route ;)
