I support Mike McCarthy in this instance. I would rather read or hear about the players attending OTAs. Let the media do the footwork, hunt down Micah Parsons, and ask for his explanation for not being at OTAs.
Get a quote from the horse's mouth instead. Do some actual reporting.
Unless he's leading the cheering section at the Mavericks game I'm not sure who else he's leading?Leadership!
What do voluntary mean. What’s the reason he isn’t there?
Is this a voluntary deal?
It’s possible I guess, but if I had my preference I’d keep my #1’s and enjoy the cap savings with hopefully two talented players on rookie deals. Of course that depends on you making the right draft choices, but I understand your logicIt might not be the smartest move to give up that much for a non QB, especially one you need to give out a mega contract to, but that's the precedent that has been set from recent trades such as Khalil Mack, Jalen Ramsey, and Tyreek Hill.
With Parsons still having two years of team control instead of his walk year I think there is an argument that he should be worth even more.
The game is in Minnesota so I doubt it.Lets' see if he shows up at the Mavs, Timberwolves game tonight..
No issue there and I think a lot of people would agree with that. Personally I'm a fan of looking to trade one of these bigger names about to need mega deals for the reasons you mentioned....or at least I was pre draft, not sure it makes a ton of sense now. It’s possible I guess, but if I had my preference I’d keep my #1’s and enjoy the cap savings with hopefully two talented players on rookie deals. Rockport...you go. You'll be here for the season...I can count on it.Of course you do
Cis boss has the same approach, why tranche it up?micah is more interested in his media career
another dis appearing bozo
I’m not a fan of his game, except when he was in college. He was a volume shooter. But I was just speaking about his grit and drive, particularly for his size.He played hard no question it can not be denied. The question you have to ask is why did he never some off. Was it because he thought it would help his team win or was it selfish? I mean the guy never got the job done. How did it help the longevity of his career? It sure did fizzle out fast. Maybe if he was more of a leader, practiced harder and involved his team mates more he would have got the job done.
No doubt he should be there from a leadership standpoint. Not a good look. We need Charles Haley to take him out back and instill some discipline into him.Gotta say, I'm disappointed in Micah for being such a diva! I thought he was more of a trooper than that. He needs to get with the program!
That's a really good point. The injury risk seems kind of silly to me simply because it's not like he is sitting on the couch instead. The guy is still working out on his own, and really getting hurt on your own time is a bigger risk. I believe if a player gets hurt on their own time the team is not responsible for any of their medical bills, and in some cases wont even have to pay their salary.Don’t buy the injury prevention excuse, you have just as much chance of injury sumo wrestling and working out with boxers as you do jogging around with shorts and a helmet. It’s a negotiation ploy.
Not a good look from your defensive leader, should have been to begin to learn the new system with his teammates.
Lol. You are something Rocky. You really are something. No doubt he should be there from a leadership standpoint. Not a good look. We need Charles Haley to take him out back and instill some discipline into him.
