Has any play ever oozed “will quit when I get a big contract” more than Micah?

He’s the next Albert Haynesworth.
If it was still Quinns defense, I could understand it but with a new DC and scheme it's a missed opportunity.

Jerry, before you VOLUNTARILY make Micah the highest paid defensive player remember what VOLUNTARY means to Micah.

You're getting some valuable Insight into the " team leader "

Which is a violation of the recent " how to be a good fan" threads......24 hour suspension.
That action would be a bit harsh. A self-compromise may be more appropriate if it involved the voluntary reduction of pot-calling-the-kettle-black posts?

Micah is the embodiment of everything Dallas Cowboys rolled up all into one player.

Brand over everything else.
Fame over rings.
Content over work.

Dude showed up to film things for the Jumbotron and his Monday night/Sunday night intro then immediately bounced.

He’s a cancer. The staff knows it. The media knows it. Micah knows it. But he sells jerseys.
A cancer? I don't see it. He wants to win and hates to lose. Sulking or not, the guy is a player and a game changer when we need him to be. I hope they extend him.

Parsons is not a team player. I would trade him immediately this guy marches to his own tune. More interested in his podcast and social media.
The extraordinary compensation for quarterback and wide receiver positions and similarly increasing pay for top offensive tackles makes 1st round draft picks more valuable than they were even two years ago. They’re critical to roster building. I don’t think any team considers themselves “Micah Parsons away” from winning the Super Bowl. I doubt any team would give up one first round pick for him.

yea, he makes me nervous. He was lavished with so much praise from day 1. Being compared with the great LT and boy did it go to his head. This is the beginning of big problems IMO. He is not the leader you want on a team. He is so worried about himself. Doing his podcast, always talking about thigs that he should stay away from right now in his career.
Not every player needs to be a leader.

But your other points have some merit.

So he was present yesterday but not today? This is literally a non issue.

Some people just gotta find some reason to hate on one of the best pass rushers in the league, I guess. “But his podcast! His podcast!!!”
He was never there for team activities. He only showed up for media day.

This is not a positive post.
This a spelling be?

More specifically, the Cowboys came in at number 9 for current GM's:

9. Jerry Jones/Stephen Jones, Cowboys
The Cowboys have three straight 12-win seasons but only one playoff victory to show for it. They have superstar players on both sides of the ball, but depth issues that tend to rear their head at the most inopportune times. They have a war horse head coach who somehow crumbles at all the biggest moments. This is a good roster, one stocked with homegrown talent. It is just impossible to shake the feeling it should be something more. Jerry Jones and his gang of cronies never quite get the credit they deserve because the finishing touches are always missing. The once-vaunted offensive line and skill player depth have become just as top heavy as every other unit. The bottom could fall out at any given moment. Jones and company do at least provide a ceiling. That is more than half the battle, and a lot more than can be said for most front offices.

(coughing) The Cowboys have the top pair in the position of defensive end and cornerback. I'll wait with interest on Rockport's comments of perspective.

Of course they would. Not all of them, but more than enough for a bidding war.

I don't think Micah cares to bond with his fellow teammates. He wants to be coached by Dan Quinn.

Not crazy at all. Bro was literally the definition of selfish. I guarantee you if he was ever truly honest he would admit that his attitude held him and his teams back and if he could do it over again he would do things differently.
care to define his selfishness? guy was just too small to be the main weapon. he gave it his all though.

He’ll be one of those players who signs 1 mega extension and bounces to retirement after 4 years.
