McCarthy wasn’t privy to the trade before it happened. Lol. So it’s not going to be interesting. It’s going to be another stupid trade by this FO that amounted to nothing except wasting a 4th rounder that could have been a RB.It is going to be interesting what happens with McCarthy and Lance.
Please noFeels like Pete Carroll.
I was one that wanted him gone after the GB debacle. So I’m not unhappy he’s gone now, if in fact that is the case. But I’m not delusional. The chance that anything actually changes is virtually non-existent. But the chance of anything changing doesn’t occur without this.If in fact the reason comes down to length of contract, was 5 yeare not enough for MM? He had 5 years of a team in it's prime and I don't care about the 12 win seasons, therei s nothing to show for it. This team is in shambles, so do we want MM here trying to rebuild it ground up? Dare I side with Jerry on this one, that MM didn't earn the length he wants? I will reserve judgement to see what jughead comes here to coach, but this time last year we wanted the guy gone. I hope MM lands on his feet and succeeds, but this is needed
Jerry is far too cheap to pay 10 million dollars to UNC and then fork over 15 million or more per year to the Hoodie.Somebody check to see if Jerry is Venmo-ing the Tar Heels 10 million dollars.
The objective from here on out should be building for the future and a heavy investment into defense. The offense in it's current state should be either left alone or salvaged for picks because we are going to need to bolster the rest of the team going forward. Get a RB cheap in FA, pair him with Rico and ride that out. Dak is Dak and there is no unringing the bell of his contract - the only path forward is to ride it out until you can get rid of him at which point draft a QB. In the meantime the focus needs to be DL and OL. Get some difference makers in the trenches and this team can start contending for the future.I see the QB situation as a massive impediment to hiring the next coach and it’s also very likely the reason that MM didn’t jump at a short term contract with the team. Jerry could effectively hang the Dak disaster squarely around the neck of MM by getting rid of them both in two years. Dak is a problem that is going to sting for a while.
Ugh.... That's like your teenage girlfriend informing you that the rubber broke.....Welcome to Dallas Ron Rivera!
He will write any check to win. He's told us.Jerry is far too cheap to pay 10 million dollars to UNC and then fork over 15 million or more per year to the Hoodie.
Jerry gets exactly what he wants, a cosh on a short leader contact. It makes me feel better because its Mike giving Jerry the finger and not vice versa. Jerry not getting the things he wants makes me very happy these days.
"Had seen"....... Whatsamatta wit people deez says?I seen / saw my mistake and did not correct it.
