You’re the one that mentioned Brady and Romo making throwing adjustments in a discussion about Lance. Like it or not that’s a comparison. Certain throwing adjustments are difficult, which why Tim Tebow kept reverting back to his old throwing motion when they tried to adjust it. Not wasting much more time arguing it.
Exactly. You can't be more wrong. So, might as well just stop now. Tim Tebow!?! GTFOH.

Sorry, but when talking about tinkering with a QBs throwing motion, Lance compares to Tebow another QB who didn’t pan out. Someone mentioned the Cowboys are trying to speed up Lance’s release and shorten it. The same with Tebow.

“After 30 days of repetition you can see that Tim Tebows motion was shorter, faster and more compact to the shoulder. His wind up windmill action.”

Tebow's love for the weight room prevented him from improving his throwing motion. Much like Brady Quinn.

He had a tough throwing motion to change. It was so bad it was the main reason many NFL teams weren’t interested in him playing QB. In an interview John Elway said he worked with him on it but he kept reverting back to it. Tebow always had that throwing motion.

To get better you have to eventually play in real games, that count. As long as Dak is around Lance will not get a legitimate chance.
We really don't know if he'll get that chance or not. No one thought Dak would get that chance and then Romo got hurt. No matter the position, you prepare and get better by adjustments. And you don't necessarily have to wait to play in a game to get better. His group can get better. His footwork can get better. The game are the results of that with possibly more adjustments

One of the reasons he went bust is his poor completion percentage. He had a quirky throwing motion from the start. We should have started adjusting it when he arrived in August. Maybe they did but no mention of it. It’s just been reported so it sounds like they just started tinkering with it. I’m not complaining about them adjusting it. It’s the timing that’s concerning.
Well, they could have started sooner and made many adjustments. It's possible the adjustments were made a long time ago. When you make adjustments, you practice that to get better. So, maybe that happened. And he may need more adjustments...who knows.

Two lasting memories of Tebow as Denver QB

-The game in Miami. He played 56 minutes of the worst football an NFL QB had ever played. He missed his RB on a check down by throwing it 10-12 feet over Moreno.
He wasn't more than 20 feet in front of him. Somehow Denver won.

-watching GM Elway trying to hide his disappointment in Denver's OT playoff win over Pittsburgh. Dude couldn't wait for Tebowmania to end so he could move past having a FB play QB. I mean, Tebow was more "Mike Alstott" than a traditional QB.

Trey Lance, a project, he may be, but he's far beyond Tebow in terms of deep ball throwing ability (he has a 75 yard TD in the NFL that nobody mentions), film study, defensive scheme recognition. He may not ever match Tebow's 2 month run as a star in the NFL, but I think it's a good bet that Lance has a better career.

Not wasting anymore time on Lance. He likely won’t be here long.

Well on year 4, the last year of your contract is the time to fix it? What was he doing the last 3 years?
First and foremost, I agree with you. But you would think Shannehan would have done something the first 2 years. At least Mike McCarthy is trying to do something.
