Typical thin skinned response from this complete fraud insider.

The Internet has made "experts" and "speculators" out of many average fans and wannabe "insiders."

I coached with a guy who coached a player who is about to be a high draft choice. He keeps me in the loop of what's going on with him. And the stuff they say about him in the "press" couldn't be further from the truth. I heard ESPN ranting about him the other day, and they were so way off bases.

But what is going on is not necessarily reporting but interpretation of reported accounts. So someone will report, "Ro's not signed yet."

Then you'll have dozens of wannabes giving their opinion as to why he's not signed and taking the information they think they know about the player and putting their spin to it.

Since won't get paid for the next 4 games he plays, I wonder how much he will be willing to put his body out there for the punishment an NFL LB gives and receives for those 4 games.

Incentive laden deal for RO would keep his head on straight without making it seem like we are low-balling him. His psyche is iffy, and I think incentive deal would be best for his type of personality.

I like this idea. Let his contract double if he leads the team in tackles. Add bonuses for each game he is on the active roster. No reason to low-ball him into resentment.

They'd better have a plan B if they sign him.

McClain had concussion issues, knee issues, and groin issues before arson burnt his house down. All that, plus his history, does not lend itself to much certainty.

Don't hitch our wagon to this guy. When he plays, he terrific, but that's "when" he plays.

I doubt he was really too hurt to play at times and it seems like his head wasn't in to it and took himself out of games. Last chance for him so he better change his attitude or he can flip burgers the rest of his life.

Jasper Brinkley is the backup plan. solid starter as the backup, I like it.

Get Ro signed.

I agree and would add it's clear they are not hitching their wagon to him. They've got 3 other capable MLBs with Hitchens, Brinkley and Lee. It's a dice roll with Ro but it's worth it.

I agree, but he'd better sign soon. I don't want him finagling his way out of training camp like last year. I can't stand guys who go to all lengths to avoid going through camp with their teammates unless they're proven icons that need preserving.

Seems odd that other teams aren't interested at all.

I was actually shocked that he seemed to think they would be. Head case, with two retirements on his record, injury problems, and a step away from actual game suspensions for substance abuse? He's a very talented player, but he's always been looking at vet minimums plus performance incentives. He just apparently didn't realize it until this week.

They want him back and nobody other than the Dallas Cowboys are dumb enough to give this guy any good $. Hopefully for us he comes back and we get to see a defense that includes Hardy, Lee, Lawrence, McClain, Hitchens, Crawford, Scandrick and more....

Fisher was reporting on the fan that the front office, Stephen and Jerry, absolutely want him. However, the coaches have been lobbying to cut ties with him because hes a great player on Sundays but all the days that aren't Sunday hes been hard to work with.

I could see this, but thats why coaches get paid the big bucks

He's coyly backpedaling a bit from his "prepping for a divorce" statements. I knew it was bs all along. We just want Ro at the right price, BUT WE DO WANT RO.

This guy is an annoying idiot.....that is why they have an incentive type contract. See Hardy and Lee

Well, whaddaya know -- after all that's been said about the FO losing confidence in RM, here we are . . . it'd really be good news to hear both sides have come to a contract that they can live with. Things seemed pretty bleak for a good while there. Hopefully, reality has taken hold and those involved can proceed as need be to settle things amicably with realistic provisions for this guy's improved reliability to materialize.

Maybe McClain has finally come to the realization that his bargaining position isn't all that he imagined it to be. Expectations must be addressed to the reality that improvement must be forthcoming and additionally that any further drug violations are definitely not to be tolerated. Rolando may also come to accept that he's left himself in no advantageous position to be expecting a major $$ windfall.

Be careful trusting Fisher. He is all over the place.

I stopped following him. He's an excellent source of misinformation though, He seems to just copy breaking news, or give his opinion as fact when nothing is going on.
