The trade with McClain had some kind of stipulation that if he plays half the snaps, the draft pick is a round higher. I wonder if that plays into this.

Are you certain of that? I understood that he had to play 50% of the snaps for Baltimore to get Dallas' 6 for Baltimor's 7. Heard no mention of the pick being a round higher. You certainly could be right, I just don't remember that being a possibility in the trade.
With Edwards being cut to bring up Smith (Lb'er) Pretty telling that the club does not think Rolando will play.

Feeling better the day before the game? Shocked.
If the game against the Rams is such a lay-up why does Vegas say we are just a 1 point favorite? In contrast, the Patriots are 14 point favorites against the Raiders.
In other words, if McClain can play, trot him out there. We need him on that wall.
I think it's great he's showing the passion to play but sometimes you have to protect a player from themselves.

For someone who, before coming to Dallas, had such a reputation for being unreliable, Rolando acts far more like one you'd never dream would ever have previously created such an image. The old cliche that states how ''a leopard can't change his spots'' certainly would appear to be losing all validity with this guy.
