Dude, I have nothing to do with him failing. He failed on his own because he isn't a football player. His road to any success is
to head to Europe and play basketball.
That's how I feel. I'm not personally invested at all. I saw nothing to suggest NFL talent, but hey, I always hope I'm wrong when it comes to Cowboys players.

Ok. Thanks for the info. How long are they on waivers?
It varies depending on the time of the year but on cut down day I think it is 24 hours.

The team with the worst record (same as the draft order) gets top priority in the claiming order and it goes down the list just like the draft.

During the season the claim order is based on that season's win/loss record.

Vested veterans (4 years service) are not subject to waivers until after the trade deadline.

Lance Lenoir was playing against mostly third and fourth team talent last night.

Lance had a nice training camp and pre-season, he definitely improved a good bit over the last year, but I just don't see anything that makes me want to keep him. Lenoir wouldn't be part of the regular WR rotation and he isn't good enough on special teams to have a role.

I view him as a practice squad player.

And that's not a bad thing, we need those guys and it's good money.

But even if Lance does make the team, I will be looking to replace him in a year with someone better.
he did way more IN camps, practices and games regardless of who was covering him.. as a 4th or 5th WR who do you think would be covering him in real games ? 1 on 1 maybe a 3rd Corner?

Lenoir just doesn’t have enough quality to keep on this roster.

He should never crack playing time unless it’s as a special teamer.

There is 5 WRs that are better then him already.
and rico does lol the same argument can be said for both players so its wash..

my goal is to bring up the fact that the most credible expressed clearly and in detail how rico was unstoppable as well as the videos. the thread is on the 1st page near enough to the top for any member of the press that may briefly browse.
u r like a moth around a campfire, so glad u r happy being useful to my goals.
yes, he did. over two training camps ago...and funny that your most credible has since been very silent...

also, many most credibles had epressed such high hopes for Ryan Leaf.... interesting don't you think...

and no member of the press will ever browse and read your non-sense. sorry to burst your bubble, but as people read through, they see jibberish... the only reason I am responding is I am bored..otherwise your none sense is totally worthless and waste of time....

and its funny so you look so desparate and trying to cling yet to another angle to make yourself legitimate and in your simple mind you found the angle that can't lose, everytime I respond, I am furthering your cause, but your simple mind can't fathom that I keep the village fool at full display for amusement of everyone.... that's what happens to the village fool

Lined up on the outside, it would be a starting CB, in the slot, typically the third CB.

Lance Lenoir would be a game day inactive if he does make the roster, which I don't think he will.

It'll be great if he does and proves me wrong by becoming a real contributor.

Cowboys mostly lined him up at Y. Blocking inline he was consistently able to get his hands inside. Needs to do a better job sustaining as he got ripped twice at the poa but I didn't notice any missed assignments. At the same time he was able to block at the poa and get push. His play strength is impressive.

Also got a chance to see him take a couple of snaps in pass protection where he stoned the OLB pretty easily.

Two caveats to consider are that this was in the second half and most of those players will not be on an NFL roster in a few days and most of the run calls were straight ahead.

I dont know why we didnt bother to start him even once this preseason. I think hes proven himself enough to make the team though. Hes a difference maker in a group without difference makers.

A) I never said that you could influence what happened.
B) All you do to contribute to the discussion is wishcast his failing with throwaway lines like "he is not a football player."

I don't know Fuzzy.
It was a mixed bag

He had a couple of nice blocks, but they also specifically called him out on blocking assignment failures during the game. They even went so far as to say it was a concern.

There was a time he blocked down and it looked like he should have gone inside and there were a couple of failed sustains but I did not see many missed assignments.

I was watching the HTown telecast.

You have to wonder how many pass catchers on the 90 man roster are getting cut due to the "Chaz" factor. They never got a good ball thrown to them because the QB was being pummeled.

To be honest, Schultz looks green. But Swaim and Jarwin are my picks for 1 and 2. And it's not close for me. Swaim is the best and most complete TE we have. Jarwin isn't as effective as a pass blocker but does well vs the run and he and Prescott have pretty solid chemistry.
I would keep Schultz over gathers.
I think he has more potential and knows the position.
That's the biggest thing holding Gathers back IMO. He just doesn't know what he's doing.

Whatever. If we cut Gathers we’re stupid and if Swaim starts over RICO we’re stupid.
