Classy guy. I just don't trust him as the lead back for 16 games (neither did Dallas, or they wouldn't have drafted Zeke).

I think with Zeke onboard, we can get rid of injury riddled Dunbar. Zeke, Morris, and McFadden is more than enough to get the job done with our running game.

Yeah to be honest I doubt the Cowboys had much choice on this pick. Most likely they won't extend McFadden.

The Cowboys RB position is manned by two players that were the #4 overall picks in their respective drafts. That is some quality.

Then there is Morris, ex Commander.

.....get rid of him. Once you wear a Commander jersey you can never wash off the stench. It just stays with you like a permanent reminder of your sordid past. I think the only method to get rid of it involves an exorcism and HASMET.

I said the same thing, but I am really curious what Dunbar brings to the passing game. Last year before he got hurt, he was lighting it up as a receiver. Offense looked really good with Dunbar lining up as a wr. Other than that, fully agree. Just curious though

Beas & Dunbar in the slot with Dez and Twill wide, and Zeke out of the backfield could definitely present some problems for opposing defenses. Just sayin'.

Zeke, McFadden and Morris? Can you believe our backfield is going to be this deep? Exciting, especially considering there are still a bevy of solid defensive players and we have pick #3 today!

I like McFaddens humble nature.
He and Morris both seem like good guys.
It will be very interesting to see what ends up happening. The Morris signing looks a little awkward right now. Even if we cut Dunbar we will still have a third string RB who is too good to be a third string RB.

well I think Morris beats out McFadden. I think Dallas was on to something last year for that short bit when they lined Dunbar up as a WR. That leaves McFadden as the odd man out IMO. We will see

We will have a 3 headed monster running attack. Lead by Elliott. But don't be surprised if DMC starts the season, and Zeke is worked in until he finally takes over the lead role.
But all 3 will be used. This is in no way a knock on Zeke by saying DMC could start,at first. heck Emmitt didn't even start over Tommy Agee, Emmitt's first game had 2 rushes for 2 yards.
Game 3 was his 1st start, I think, and that was on a depleted Dallas team.

Concur he will start and he will dominate touches in the backfield that isnt the question. That transition very well could take a game or two. Regardless it isn't going to be long.

At least for this season, I see DMac & Morris having value in 2 back sets. With Zeke's blocking ability he could lead block for either or simply take the hand off himself. Defenses will have to scheme for that and that could also open up passing lanes; especially in the red zone.
