unfortunately some people actually subscribe to this line of thinking.

Yah, Dez Bryant, such a model of class and dignity. My favorite classy moment was when he was yelling at the reporter in the locker room grabbing his crotch over and over saying "you know what I'm sayin"?

I like McFadden. We better not cut him. He's the closest thing to a solid 3 down back in case Elliott gets hurt.

Good point, was gonna post this. Honestly I think Morris will be the odd man out.

Morris is big enough to be a FB, kinda like Mike Alstott. Not sure how well he blocks, but I would at least try him there and find out. Clutts wasn't a terrific blocker and was no threat out of the backfield whereas Morris would be. Call me crazy, but I would at least see what he has there.

I don't get what the big deal is about what Morris said? It's a tweet back to either a Commanders fan or player so it's only natural that he references his new team as the opposition to the person he's talking to.

It's very clear he's thanking people for all their well wishes despite the fact that he's not part of the opposition. It's not complicated or sinister in the least.

We had an 1800 yard rusher and Dez had himself a monster season. He isn't worried about "the offense not running thru him anymore." What is wrong with you people? Are we just looking for any way at to trash Dez, no matter how ridiculous and irrational the reason is?

Pretty much, yes. But his response was anything but overly welcoming. If he thought it was then he is a moron. Lets just say that Dez isnt sharpest tool in the shed and it shows often.

he was raised by a literal crackhead. he could be much, much worse.
is there a rule that players have to be "overly welcoming" in a tweet? what if he texted Zeke? Called him? getting even a little miffed at a TWEET that said nothing bad whatsoever is just stupid.

I agree that analyzing his tweet is a stretch, but thinking Dez acts trashy is not a stretch in the least.

considering his circumstances growing up, in his most formative years, I'd say he's alright. let's not pretend these things don't affect people forever.

and i don't consider him "trashy," btw.

Yep and Dez Bryant is pure trash. He is probably worried that the offense wont go through him anymore at WR.

You should start another thread about how you hate Dez ...... those are always popular.

well I think Morris beats out McFadden. I think Dallas was on to something last year for that short bit when they lined Dunbar up as a WR. That leaves McFadden as the odd man out IMO. We will see

Disagree. McFadden is the more natural 3rd down/change of pace back. Morris is a better runner between the tackles but that's it. He also is not the kind of back who can produce with few touches. To me, Elliott phased out Morris not McFadden.

Here's the thing though. We've got Ezekiel Elliott now. We should be a one back offense and quit worrying about these ham and eggers. They can play a snap or two when Zeke needs a drink and a breather.
