I don't get the fascination with Dunbar either. It would be one thing if he was some established return guy, but to date, he's not been that either. And, for a team with question marks at the #1 and #2 positions already, can you really afford for your #3 back to be strictly a niche role player?

Your point is Randle is terrible in pass protection and if that was true he wouldn't have been starting along with Romo last week. Having some issues in pass protection or needing to improve in that area isn't the same as being terrible in pass protection. No way would the Cowboys risk Romo's health if Randle was a complete liability in pass protection. This will be Randle's 3rd season the Cowboys know a lot about him and he wouldn't be completing for a starting job if he was a complete liability in pass protection.

A couple of missed blocks and two holding calls in 10 or so passing snaps so far this preseason. Not good.

Plus you can just see how weak his blocking is when he takes on the guy in the hole. Its almost like he is afraid.
