Yeah, that legend McClain. I cant wait for his HOF induction.

One of our top 2 lIne backers yep. Again I wonder did Oakland know what they were letting go in McClain? Or is it that the Raiders just suck as an organization?

Does it have to be mutually exclusive? They could have known and that's why they suck as an organization?

I think I'm tired of these running back threads. Truth be told, there arent that many great "bell cow" lead backs like there were a decade ago. Obviously, McFadden is no Petterson, however he can be suitable replacement along with the other backs we have on this team. I don't buy into the notion that last season was all on Demarco. Demarco was great, but if anyone suggest drafting all pro O-linemen has nothing to do with his meteoric rise as a running back then they are just dumb. A couple years ago, people here was all whinny cause we drafted skill players and not trench players, now people here are all whinny cause we just drafted trench players and not a running back. Demarco Murry average 1.4 yards more than McFadden. Im confident that McFadden could get the extra yard with the Cowboys oline. All these threads where people are crying about the running backs we have, or that we didnt draft a back, are people searching for something to complain about. Some people arent happy unless they have something to complain about.

I was being sarcastic though. I think the reason they suck is that they don't know how to use their talent (the little bit that they have) Randy Moss and Rolando McClain both sucked there but as soon as they left that team they were beasts. McFadden is gonna make it 3/3

I would rank my excitement level for our running backs like this:

1. A potential trade for an upgrade
2. Joseph Randle
3. Ryan Williams
4. Darren McFadden
5. Lance Dunbar

Randy Moss was a beast before he went there. McClain had good seasons there, he just wasn't there mentally.

That is a very good question.
On one hand the Raiders suck as an organization.
On the other, many of their players suck, thus their recent records.
I tend to think McClain was let go for other reasons and not for playing lights out.

We shall never no. Actually, we will know this season. If you belief the Raiders such as an organization (and I think they do) McFadden will run for 1,200 yards and McClain will be an all pro. . . . hear I go again, being naive. Listen, when I walk into the Family General Top Dollar Store and leaf with a set of dishes, I really don't belief they are high quality, just that they are cheap and were available. hear i go again, being all existentialist and stuff.

I think he retired twice on them or something, they just didn't want to deal with it anymore. I think at that point he was just a lost cause for that organization.

The guy has had some issues mentally but it looks like we helped him out, i'm sure going to a competitive team also helps get your head straight too.

Also, definitely on the McFadden bandwagon. Although, i'd probably feel a little pity for the Raiders if another player of theirs happens to come to Dallas and play really well.

Maybe not.
