Was I the only one cringing with McKinley walking around (with that pic of his grandmother) like he was going to kill someone after he got picked? Deion earned his paycheck last night trying to temper this dude down a few notches.
So 2 ways to look at it. If the Falcons can channel that chip on his shoulder to the field, he might be a lights out pick. On the other hand, I had visions of Greg Hardy lashing out on the sideline at coaches and players when confronted.
I don't know the whole story on this guy but it will be interesting to see how he does.

I think he was overhyped, but I'm not reading anything into his outburst. I don't think it translates to anything other than he was excited he fulfilled a promise to his grandmother. It doesn't mean he's going to be better on the field any more than a quieter draft pick translates into being a poor player.

And I wish they would replace Deion as an interview on draft day. I didn't like the way he called out Takk. There are interviewing techniques you can use to quiet people without putting them on the spot like Deion did.

someone should make a meme of Takk getting his rear spanked by Larry Johnson (as granmawmaw) for cursing on stage.

don't mind showing that emotion at all. this whole process is crazy for these kids. and he's just that - a kid.

Only concern I had on McKinley is he is coming off shoulder surgery that will keep him out 5 to 6 month. Mayock mentioned if could be Oct before he is ready to play.

I don't know if Mayock comment of oct is right or not but it does appear he will miss training camp

He's got a chip on his shoulder. Not an actual one like Anthony Brown though.

His father was never in his life and mom abandoned him at 5. His grandma raised him. Might be over the top for some, but can't blame him for being emotional after what he's been through.

I thought I was watching WWE

I lost no sleep over missing on him and it had little to do with his meltdown on the stage.

That "chip on the shoulder" crap is overrated. All these guys have chips on their shoulder in some respect. They just know how to contain it and channel it without acting like a fool.
