It ties in with Polian's comments. I do think Murray is making very high demands.

There is a reason why pretty much all of the top free agents have found new homes except for him.

Nobody knows what to make of it. Dallas had a great OL and he is demanding a salary like he made it happen by himself.

I think he gets a deal in the range of 6 years $57 million from the Jags. They're throwing around stupid money.

I dont think they are...theyve supposedly been talking to him all weekend...with an offer like that and hes sitting in Dallas at a Mavs game the evening after all the big FAs already signed?

With this and the whole Dez thing, I'm starting to realize just how bad modern media is since social media has taken over.

It is really bad and gets on my nerves. I hate all of these 'I want to be first to break the news' wannabes out there.

I think people are reading too much into the trading Shady thing. The Eagle offense works off a 2 RB premise...one who is a masher and hits the hole like Murray/Gore and one like Sproles who spreads the field. Shady is a stud back but from what I read he was starting to shy from hitting the hole last year and they weren't happy. Add this up coming contract demands and you get this. Foles wasn't someone they loved starting last October too.

Still makes very little sense to add another 9m/yr RB when you just traded one. Plus if they were that interested in Murray, why target Gore 1st? Seems he was in their targeted price range and Murray wasn't. I highly doubt their interest in Murray is as high as people were/are speculating.

I think his agent is telling him " plenty of teams with plenty of money left". Not good teams, but teams with a lot of money left.

Last I heard, the Raiders were getting involved too. If you can pit the Raiders and Jags caps against one another? He will get p-a-i-d.

I think they just signed Roy Helu now that does not mean he is in the same class but I wonder it is them just saying screw it with Murray.

Considering that they're likely clearing the decks with two of their three running backs from last year (Jones-Drew and McFadden), who knows?

I don't think they'll pay either but I was just explaining their interest.

DING DING DING....finally someone who agrees with me. "Shady'' was laughably soft and overrated. He didn't like getting hit at all and constantly jitter bugged toward the sideline for no gain.

Kelly wanted to sign Gore because as HoustonFrog said above, his system needs a masher who can hit the hole and go north/south. Murray could very well be the answer, but I hope to hell he goes elsewhere.

They sure are. When I saw they gave Odrick, a limited Dlineman 22 mil I almost fainted. Idiotic... but that's the Jags.
