The people who keep telling other cowboys fans that we don't need the any of the big time impact players in free-Agency. and the people who don't think we should bring back the NFL offensive player of the year. and those who think we should not give one of the best WR in football a long term deal. that's what i mean when i say you people.

YOU did not capitalize the YOU so it doesn't count

I'll give you that. But I doubt they are just being nice. Players want him back, coaches want him back even Jerry said yesterday he wants him back.
Price is the issue. The aren't secretly hoping he gets a deal some where else. Sounds like they are hoping he doesn't.

Whatever the truth is, aren't you just beside yourself with glee how Dallas has learned to handle this?

It's like Ted Thompson of the Packers is running this thing.

Randall and Dumbar are back-ups in the NFL. and that's all they will ever be.the idea you replace Murray with either of those scrubs is a joke.

Who said I thought any of the 3 rbs mentioned would be a starter or replacement for DM?

Whatever. i mean what i post. Jerry has to be one happy owner. he does not have to spend a dime to improve his team anymore. and he and his son keep getting praise from some fans and local media for doing it. yet his team has not won a championship in almost 20 years. and only 2 playoff wins in 20 years.not good!

one or two big free agent signings NEVER work. remember the dream team eagles of a few years ago? remember our teams after the aikman era? it sure didnt work for denver last year. you are thinking like the jerry jones we dont want. the cowboys locked up their big time WR. they let injury plagued players/jags go in Durant, Harris and Parnell go for money then they needed to be paid. this isnt madden, you cant have superstars at every position and pay them like it.

the cowboys are approaching the murray the right way. the running back position is a devalued position currently. you can find great backs in the later rounds. murray is a solid back who is a product of our oline. you think if he goes to oakland he rushes for anywhere close to 1800 yards. ill call it right now if he goes there he gets 1200 yards max. you wanna pay elite money for that? cowboys would love to have murray back at their price.

thank god our front office isnt freaking out like you and make stupid decisions. for all freaking out thats going on, the biggest fish is still out there to be had. hes the one guy that makes sense. young stud pass rusher who should come at a slightly discounted price, Greg Hardy. he is the one true difference maker on the market and the cowboys have the ability to go get him if they decide its the right decision to do so.

too many knee jerkers and short sighted people post on these boards. once you take a big breath and see the big picture things become clearer. dont overpay and especially overpay for age or for devalued positions. doing this kept the cowboys from achieving their goals for too many years. its about time the front office is taking responsibility and doing the right way now.

Here is the big picture which you speak of. 2 playoff wins in almost 20 years. 0 Super Bowls in almost 20 years. guys like Romo and Witten don't have time for Jerry and Stephen, to keep waiting and waiting, and kicking things down the road.

I thought Philly was the wild card to possibly throw a monkey wrench into the Cowboys plan by overreacting and throwing a boatload at Murray. Now that they've apparently moved to Matthews, the Cowboys sit squarely in the driver's seat. Ultimately it looks like the Cowboys will get him at south of 6 mil/yr.
