Likely the Eagles are just trying to drive up Murray's price so we cannot afford him

I agree. I think Murray is holding out as long as he can but will eventually end up a Cowboy.
 
has anything Philly done so far made sense??

I do think he goes to Philly though. More money and they are more of a contender than jax/oak.

They just signed Mattews at TB and they still have holes at S, OG, WR and not a lot of cap space left.

The Eagles.. well nothing else needs to be said.

So I'm feeling more and more confident that my boy will be making a very smart decision soon.

They have more holes than we do. They don't have a starting S, they don't have a starting OG and they don't have a top WR. It would be pretty silly to sign Matthews then sign Murray and eat up space they could use to sign Rahim Moore, for exmaple.

Not with stuff like this. Philly or whatever team is showing mutual interest. OK big deal that means very little right now. Most of this twitter crap is pretty unreliable. The only time they are right is when something ACTUALLY happens like a signing.

Chip needs more than 1 RB, its his type of offense. Murray/Mathews/Sproles will be his style of runningbacks he wants

I'm not saying they are smart. You said they didn't have much cap space. they have more than the Cowboys and so far have shown an odd plan to most on how they are building there team. So if Shefter says there is still interest from Philly, I kind of believe that.

They apparently are high on Chris Polk as well.

If Murray goes to Philly, fine by me. It doesn't really make Philly better. They'd be smarter to take Murray's money and sign a real safety.
 
Caplan says Murray is even more interested in the Eagles than the Eagles are in him.

I think Sam Bradford has a lot to do with this. They are good friends.
