Mega "Where's Murray going?" Thread *Merge*

If I were Dez I would not sign a long term deal here.

Wait it out and go play with Luck or Newton

It is what it is.
What will be will be.
It ain't over till the fat lady sings.
It ain't over till it's over.
It's deja-vu all over again.
When you come to a fork in the road, take it.
If you don't know where you're going, you might end up somewhere else.
If the world was perfect, it wouldn't be.
I never said half the things I said.

There is no I in TEAM
But...there is ME

I think a lot of it is the combination of his agent and his/his agents belief that he was going to get a big deal. Miscalculated the value and now the agent is using the agent playbook to still try and make this work some how. Murray may not be mad at Dallas directly but more upset of how this has turned publicly embarrassing.

I would not be happy if he went to Philly at all but I don't have a problem with how the Dallas FO is trying maintain their new philosophy they're trying to establish either.

He's mad at Dallas because he wants to stay, but Dallas isn't matching and now he's playing the leverage game by flying out to a division rival.

Ok so QBs get endorsements. Newton gets them around here. Rogers gets them along with Manning Nationwide. Any RBs getting them? I can say I haven't seen it if they are.

are you kidding me? AP was sponsored by Nike and Castrol and others, Ray Rice still made 1.6 mill in endorsement salary. Jamal Charles sponsored by Puma Bell of steelers just got sponsored by Pepsi...

Without Murray and a bad defense. things may get pretty bad this next year.

Yeah we're definitely going 2-14. This the guy that thinks signing every free agent out there is the way to go. Well we don't have a bad defense and we will get another RB to replace Murray.

Like somebody wrote earlier.

If Oakland is offering more money than Philly but he chooses Philly, then the "get all you can" argument is off the table and it speaks of something else going on.

I would love for Murray to come back, but it really comes more from my heart than my brain.
The odds are very high that he won't live up to his next contract.....almost a certainty, IMO. Almost.

I'm serious here; if he goes to Oakland, he may not be that much better than the Murray they already have. I give him the benefit of the doubt and say he will be....from the heart.

When they finally gave Latavius a Murray a real chance--the 6,3, 230 LB, RB who ran a 4.38 forty...was not bad

I don't think losing Murray is a big deal at all. He didn't make many spectacular plays from nothing. He hit wide open holes. I think our O-Line is like the Chiefs of the early to mid 2000's, they just plugged in back after back and got the same results.

We won't know until we have more details, but it's not about taking the raise. I'm with you on that.

It's about deliberately taking the offer that hurts your former employer. IMO that is what he is doing.

One report said the Boy's, Eagles ad Raiders are interested. Jacksonville pulled out supposedly.
I think we agree he would rather be a Cowboy first. Ten to be honest I don't think he has any interest in the Raiders. A report (again:rolleyes:)
was out he flat out told them no. So now it's between Dallas and Philly. Dallas supposedly is sticking to their guns. Maybe Philly's offer is substantially more. We DON"T know. If it is why would he turn it down? I don't know what Philly is doing but I'm Sure Murray thinks he can help in what ever it is.

Really not going out on a limb. "If it's not money, it's something other than money," is essentially what's being said.

You have confidence in our front 7 right now? Easily the worst in the league
