All the guys on NFLNW right now are saying if the offers are remotely close Murray should stay in a Dallas.
They mentioned the dominant line, the chance to win, and the upside to the Cowboy brand.
All good points.

If not Dallas, they said take the max money in Oakland because RBs often only get one chance to cash in.

These are the only two options that actually make sense given the situation (and assuming the offers are relatively close). The whole Philly game is clearly to ruffle some feathers.

Not true, but no one but one has answered my question. You would turn down a 20% or better raise, every thing else being equal?
I wouldn't, my family mean more to me than that.

This question would be valid if he was heading to Jacksonville or Oakland. He's going to a division rival when we can at least assume there was equal money to be had elsewhere from what we know.

I like Murray but don't want us to get into a bidding war. He's only had one healthy season here and there is a deep RB draft this year. Don't want to see him go to Philly but don't need that to force our hand.

Romos been great, vey few endorsements. A pizza hut spot THIS year is about all I have seen. I'm sure there's more in Dallas. But we don't see them here if there is.

I hope you realize Tony Romo in 2013 was the 24th highest paid athlete....he also still made 3 million that year in endorsments. Some athletes chase endorsments and others dont. I'm not gonna go back and forth but Colin K. 49ers qb, just started...already made 3 mill in endorsments and jag gave him a 100k supercar...there are other perks. But I agree with others, if he was all about the money, he woudl probably going to oakland but this sounds like he is bitter about the cowboys offer and wants to stick it to jerry and the cowboy fans in general.

Exactly, we are assuming. And it is a valid question. I would take the raise.

It's deja-vu all over again.

We won't know until we have more details, but it's not about taking the raise. I'm with you on that.

It's about deliberately taking the offer that hurts your former employer. IMO that is what he is doing.

lol then can you explain to me why he would take possibly less from oakland? Are you even reading tweets from some of the experts saying if he signs with philly for even less than a dallas offer jerry must have upset him? do you need glasses dude?

Or Blame Murray and his agent... Remember Jerry, Jason and his team mates wanted him to stay.

Guess it depends on which side you want to believe and which side you want to blame.

I think a lot of it is the combination of his agent and his/his agents belief that he was going to get a big deal. Miscalculated the value and now the agent is using the agent playbook to still try and make this work some how. Murray may not be mad at Dallas directly but more upset of how this has turned publicly embarrassing.

I would not be happy if he went to Philly at all but I don't have a problem with how the Dallas FO is trying maintain their new philosophy they're trying to establish either.

Ok so QBs get endorsements. Newton gets them around here. Rogers gets them along with Manning Nationwide. Any RBs getting them? I can say I haven't seen it if they are.

I love the Cowboys not rushing to sign him. How fast we forget he was never healthy and the one year he stays healthy he can't hold on to the ball. Our line created some serious space, it wouldn't take an 8 million dollar a year back to hit those holes.

Without Murray and a bad defense. things may get pretty bad this next year.
