The benefits in the NFL are universal. None of that matters.

Understood. I was thinking more along the lines of quality of life, brand of the team, weather in the respective cities, no personal income tax in TX but there is in PA. There's just more to consider than just the straight up 20% raise.

Strange…within 24 hours I look at Murray differently now

I hear you bro. I have admitted that I keep flip-flopping about Murray. Over the past few days, I find myself leaning one way....and then I hear someone present the case for the opposite to happen....and then I switch. Its maddening. Usually, I make up my mind and that's it. But this is a very tricky situation. I think right now I am at the point where I want him back, but at the price that Dallas has already determined was "their price". I don't want anyone making an emotional decision and offering him more than what the team can realistically handle.

If I were Dez I would not sign a long term deal here.

Wait it out and go play with Luck or Newton

I doubt Dez will be signed long term unless it's very team friendly. The Cowboys will use his talent the next two years and then find a younger replacement. Spend the resources on the QB and both lines of scrimmage, then replace the RBs and receivers after their intitial contract is up.

His shelve life is only a few more years. Then he can move where ever he want's to. Guys like me and you are stuck basically with were we live and what we do. I'm an average Joe. 20% for DM is way different than 20% for me.

I'm about in the middle right now. I want Murray back. I think the Cowboys offered him too little but I'm at the point where I'm about ready to move on. All this Philly talk has gotten to me because I don't think it's about the money anymore and if this is the way Murray and the Cowboys feel about each other then maybe it's time to part ways.

Murray has done much better than I thought he would in this league, credit to his work ethic and drive.

That said I think this is just the first step in what could be a vastly improved backfield. Get AD, draft a value RB, have a battle for the third spot in camp.

Any more tha 30 bucks on a pair of sneakers I want no part of. I'm certainly not going to polish my sneakers everyday.

I'm getting to be the same way. I used to spend stupid money on cool kicks with only one prerequisite (they had to look good with a Cowboys jersey *seriously*). Now, I'm like "meh, where's the clearance section"?

$150.00-200 on a top shelf pair of work boots, though? In a heartbeat.

Yeah, when I'm on a military base working I have to wear work boots. You can't buy those cheap, painful.

When a player does not show passion for us fans we just treat him the same…if he is back..hey welcome back, let's do this…if not then let's move on…it's not like the destiny of America's Team falls solely on one RB…He is going to visit Philly, did he ask him self "oh I don't wana hurt the feelings of millions of Cowboys fan"? so why spend one second of your day thinking about him?

There might be bad blood, I have no idea. But didn't Dez say Don't test my loyalties? He still hasn't signed a thing and also stated he would NOT be happy with the tag. Where's the outrage? And you can bet your bottom dollar, he would go for the bucks in a heart beat.
Murray hasn't publically said a word.

Looks like it's you acting acting like a woman scorned. Murrey is just trying to get his money. and there is nothing wrong with that. you are the one throwing a fit.

Word. I think we've all found that out the hard way. I always feel sorry for the guys that are shopping for work boots at Walmart. I understand it. You gotta get what you can afford but in the back of my mind I'm thinking "your feet are going to hate you for this", and I know as soon as they can afford it those boots will be the first thing in the trash. Gotta make it through those first couple of weeks of work first, but man they are painful.

Pure conjecture.

Romos been great, vey few endorsements. A pizza hut spot THIS year is about all I have seen. I'm sure there's more in Dallas. But we don't see them here if there is.

Being an All-Time Cowboy great easily trumps an All-Time Eagles great for post career opportunities. Really not close in regards to that.
