Mega "Where's Murray going?" Thread *Merge*

So breaking Emmits single season rushing record equals All-Time great? Its pretty clear your a giant Murray fan but you can't honestly believe that.

I didn't say that. You said how important it was, I said he broke the record. No where did I say that equals all time great.

I have a source on Twitter saying that Philadelphia and Murray have agreed to terms with Dallas having last chance to match.

I just don't get it from Philly's POV. Why sign Mathews and Murray?? Already have Sproles and Polk.

Murray should've taken OAKs money if this story is true.

NFLN just that the Raiders are the front runner and a contract is on the table. Don't know if that is true. I saw on another site the Raiders offer but 56 mil for 4 years but it was a fake Twitter account or I least I hope it was. That is way too much money for any RB.

Fake account

Dez grew up a Cowboys fan. He was very emotional when we drafted him as well. I won't hold a statement he said in the middle of the season against him considering he hasnt done anything since then that would indicate his dislike for the tag.

Only thing people have reported was he won't be participating in minicamp but Dez never said that.

Maybe so. I still would bet that he would leave for a more secure future for himself and his. And I wouldn't blame him one bit.

Calls up the head coach of youre inter-divison rival and says he wants to play there ? Dont let the back door hit ya where the good Lord split ya !

Will you please stop making new threads whining like a 10 year old because Murray is trying to get his money. it's business. so stop acting like a 10 year old. business works both ways.

I'm not sure what Murray thinks he is going to do behind that Eagles Oline. Remember, Murray has had only ONE year when he has been healthy. Draft a RB and move on.

Side note ...... Philly has a very good OL... Carry on

So Murray is flying to Philly and the Dallas back-up plan (according to NFL Network) CJ Spiller is flying to New Orleans. I'll tell you what...I am not concerned. I am not worried even a little bit. Because I 100% believe the Cowboys front office has something else in the works. They have been patient and have remained firm. I don't believe they would act like this unless they are convinced that Plan B is totally suitable.

yeah, who really knows?

ugh i just want this to end. i want to know who our damn running back is, and we may not know til late april.

It really is bizarre what the Eagles are doing, in my opinion.

You sign Ryan Mathews for nearly 4 mil a year and now want to bring in Demarco Murray for probably atleast 7 mil a year if not more. All the while having Sproiles in town as well. That's way too much money tied up in the running back position. I just can't wrap my mind around it especially considering the fact that Demarco doesn't fit that offensive scheme at all. Now I know that he played with Sam Bradford at Oklahoma, but other than that, it really is ridiculous from the Eagle's standpoint.

If they want to overpay for Murray, let them. As I said before, we have built the foundation of this team on offense and that's a young, powerful, athletic offensive line and there are options via the draft and free agency still that we can explore to fill who will be carrying the ball for us.

Adrian peterson.

I said being an All-Time Cowboys great and you responded with he broke that record. What am I supposed to read out of that? If you weren't saying that, the point still stands. For post career opportunities, being an All-Time Cowboys great, trumps being an All-Time any other team great and thats not close.
